Well worth the money

"I had the model before this one and loved them but the leather started to fall away on the ear part and just got nasty, was well impressed with this model no more leather, they have lightened the thing that sits on the skull giving a pain in the skull if worn after an hour and so no more skull pain from that and most of all the sound is awesome love love love the bass on these, always makes my hair stand up on end on my arms with the superb feeling that I am in the club. Only a couple of days after I bought these the newest with Bose are released but at 2 x the price, a little annoyed but again well worth it."

Honest review

"Not the best for active use. They constantly fall off no matter how slight of adjustment i do. I was hoping these would keep me cooler while im weeding in the garden. Don't like how they dont have Anc. Good opinion about them is the color I had chosen and the buttons are easier to use."

It’s designed for working out

"It’s designed for working out however it constantly slides off, when I’m doing work on the bench the top slides to front or back of the top of my head and has completely fallen off twice in 5 workout sessions I’ve used it. Also audio is just okay would be more upset if I paid full price. Bass vibration is a really cool feature."

"Lightweight and durable. The bass hits hard without the distortion that some complain about. There is zero distortion unless you crank the low end full on the Skullcandy app and the phones equalizer then the bass becomes too much and the sound gets a bit muddy. The app is great as well. A huge improvement on these headphones compared to the older skullcrusher Evo back when the crusher Evo first came out. the overall sound quality is crip and with the EQ dialed in perfectly, thale bass hits hard and smooth, the mids and highs are clear without getting "muddy" like some complain about. The max volume is amazing. these headphones are great. . . . . . Worth the price"

BEWARE: TILE DOESN’T WORK. Color

"BEWARE: TILE DOESN’T WORK. Color is beautiful. Sound+bass are chefs kiss. Fit is great, comfy. Battery life is elite. What upsets me is Skullcandy stating it comes with a Tile and said Tile not even working because the 540 Active’s SPECIFICALLY are not registered with Tile so, you can’t even set it up for use despite the 540’s being on the market for a year. If you misplace them or get them stolen, oh well. I also have the Crusher Evo’s and I had no issue connecting to Tile. Skullcandy is aware of the problem and have no solution. ATP just stop advertising the Tile feature on the 540’s to not disappoint paying customers."

"Ok, the thing i don't like first, they can slip of my head on a bench doing weights. Apart from that I think they're great for the gym and being active, they allow you to hear stuff. The bass is awesome, are they my favourite headphones no, read my other review about the other set of headphones I own. Yes, that's right I have 2 sets of skull candy headphones"

"If they were a super model it would be Cindy Bruna, if they were a car it would be a Maserati typo 61. . . Best worn standing up, and in colder climates in IMHO, do create some "music bleed" when cranked up but I think that's unavoidable_I just try to be respectful. Thank you for the discount and a great product"

I think sound quality is

"I think sound quality is great! My only complaint is the ear cuffs. I know they were redesigned with a cloth to absorb sweat. But there’s no way to clean them… So maybe having removable fabric so that you can wash them? Especially since their targeted for workout."

They do slip off of

"They do slip off of my head I can’t even do sit ups without them slowly but surely sliding off . The bass is decent not what I expected. They also hurt my ears after a while of wearing them and well I think that the advertisement is a bit misleading but they are decent overall to me. The battery life and sound quality are good though ."
