You can use the directional pad to cycle through preset EQ modes (Signature, Outdoor, Indoor). Press the Right or Left button on the directional pad 3 times (3x) to cycle through the different modes.

How Do I Link Session 540 With Other Portable Speakers?

With party mode you can link your Session 540 speaker with up to 99 other Session series speakers.

With your Session 540 powered on, you can start party mode by pressing and holding the party mode button for 1 second. Release after you hear an audio tone. You have started a party, and this is now your “HOST” speaker. The HOST speaker will start a broadcast that other Session speakers can find. Like a radio station, the HOST will only broadcast music. All other functions, like Volume and Bass boost will be controlled separately on each individual speaker.

To add a “GUEST” speaker to the party, don’t worry about disconnecting any devices. Simply press and hold the Party mode button for 3 seconds. Release once you have heard two audio tones.

You are now linked in party mode. Repeat "GUEST" steps for as many other Session speakers as needed.

How Do I Set Up Stereo Sound with Session 540 Portable Speakers?

With True Wireless Stereo, your Session speakers can create true left and right stereo sound to play full, and more immersive music.

With your Session speakers on, and connected to each other using party mode, triple tap the party mode button. You will have to perform this function for both the HOST and GUEST speakers individually.

Your speakers are now in true wireless stereo mode.

Once both speakers are in true wireless stereo mode, the HOST will act as the LEFT speaker, and the GUEST will act as the RIGHT speaker.

"This is an awesome little speaker (though it isn’t that little) the controls actually work, it even has a microphone, the sound is very good, and the overall functionality is good! The neither here nor there for me personally is the bass, it has such crazy good bass that I don’t even have to have on Bass Mode to feel it sometimes and that is great when I want it and not fabulous when I don’t but not a problem either. Aside from that my only wish was that the batter life was displayed in settings or that it told me, cause the indicator light is the only real way I’ve found to know and that isn’t a great gage. Overall I love it. If I could give a half star I’d give it a four and a half."

I like the product, but

"I like the product, but I expected more of a bass boost out of this speaker. I am having issues with turning this speaker off and I am still unsure if this speaker is turned off completely. I do want to know why the speaker is considered waterproof when the charging port is completely open with no cover on it? If this speaker was waterproof, wouldn’t the charging port for the product have to be covered and protected with a flush rubber seal?"

I wish I could give

"I wish I could give this speaker a higher rating because it does sound pretty good for it's size. Unfortunately the battery life is pretty poor. Skullcandy claims an average battery life of 17 hours but I've never gotten more than six hours, even at a pretty moderate volume, before it gives me an audible warning that the battery needs to charge. Maybe I got one that is messed up or has a faulty battery. Six hours is the best I've gotten. I use it pretty much daily at work and I always have to keep a charger in my pocket. It's really a shame because I love Skullcandy's headphones. I've had the original Cruhers, the Crusher EVO, and now the new Aviator 900 ANC's. Plus I pretty much always have a pair of Push earbuds in my pocket. All have served me well. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to use headphones in the busy kitchen at work (safety hazard)"
