Andy Anderson
Pro skateboarder, Olympian and artist Andy Anderson says that he grew up loving doodle-style art. He draws some of his inspiration from VC Johnson, who created Powell Peralta’s iconic graphics during the ‘80s. “VCJ draws skeletons that are not dead … I like the friendly reminder that we all have a skull behind our face.”
Marbie Miller
This colorful paper collage was created by pro skateboarder and artist Marbie Miller. Marbie says she was artistic as a kid but dug in deeper when a broken leg forced her to put down her board for a while. Her work celebrates the power of self-discovery through solitary reflection: “Time always feels different when you’re alone.”
