Just got it in Feb 2010....so far it's been excellent....good sound, even at volume....definately need to purchase a coule sets of lithium rechargeable batts if you're going to use battery power much......only down side I've seen is the instruction manual is WEAK...other than that, so far so good! I have a set of their earbuds also for riding my M/C.....outstanding

This has a really good sound even on battery power, but it sucks as a mobile device. I have an old car with no MP3 or Ipod support so my wife bought me this to play my Ipod on the car. The batteries only last about 3hrs. And the songs sound like they are skipping after that. At first i thought it was the vibration and potholes but if I turn the sound down it goes away or if i install fresh batteries it goes away. So I am assuming it's the batteries being run down. but it doesn't seem right 4 AAA batteries w/ approx 1700ma hours equals 6800ma hours or 6.8 hours. I am getting about half that life. what is the nominal current draw a 6V on med to low volume? 2 amps for that seems high i would think around 0.5 to maybe 1 for such a device. so i give it 2.5 skulls

Got one as a gift and was kinda doubtful as to how much sound this thing would put out.
When I plugged it in and cranked it up, I was very surprised at its loundness, and excellent sound quality.
Great design and great sound. Recommended.

Admittedly, I know the boys at Skullcandy, but this thing sf legit. I got one, use it at home in my room and travel with it always. Small and loud.
