      I purchased this iPhone 5 case about 6 months ago. While I like the looks of the case and it functions well the "wood" is a rubberized foam and the "aluminum" is black plastic that is painted to look an aluminum color. Additionally, the "aluminum" slowly turns a gold-tan color over time. I'm guessing its some sort of oxidation of the clear coating covering the aluminum covered coating. As for the "metal" Skullcandy insert, it is flexible just like the rest of the "wood" backing on the case. After all the disappointing aspectis of this case, it does function well and is comfortable in your pocket. I just wanted to share what you will actually receive.

      BOTTOM LINE YES, I recommend this product
