I bought these headphones for snowboarding this winter. I have in-ear headphones by beyerdynamic which are excellent, but i wanted something a little more stylish. They look great and fit really nice on the ears. The ear pads are really soft and the top strap sits nice. I gave these 3/5 stars because if the colour. It says they are brown but they are much closer to olive green in real life. Subsequently they dont match my snow jacket. They actually have a really good sound for £30 headphones. Good mids and pretty sweet and defined highs. I thought they might be all about looks but they actually deliver when it comes to sound. Theyre quite fun sounding for things like pop punk and hip hop. I dont know how they will deal with heavy metal as the bass can distort a little if you turn them up but usually thats not necessary. The audio files on your ipod will make the difference, make sure they are all 320kbps and these 'phones will really shine.
