First I have to say that for the price, these aren't bad at all. I've had these for about 4 months now and they are still working great. But I can't wear these for more than an hour at a time, or else my ears get a little sore. I mainly use them to listen to house or techno, and these are decent for that type of music. However I do wish the mids were a little more clear. For 30 bucks though, these are excellent!

I've had these for 3 months and I'm still far past satisfied with the sound delivery of these headphones. I use them all the time with my IPad and IPhone and have had no issues with comfort nor sound quality. I've even worked out with them on without worrying about them falling off. A great set of headphones. When I next upgrade, I'll likely stick with the skullcandy brand.

I have owned two pairs of uprocks and both of them have broken. My first pair broke because of me but after only 3 months my rasta uprocks broke. The sound was lost in the right side which I have experienced with my jib earbuds and my UF Agents. Also a round metal piece had came lose in the right. But that aside I loved the comfort and sound quality of these. The bass was clear and the highs were not muffeled. Skullcandy just needs to work on the quality of the construction and the drivers.

I have had these headphones for around 3 months now and aside from some minor peeling, they are brand new. They are very comfortable to wear for 1-2 hours, but not more than 3 hours. the support piece holding the 2 ear cups together is flexible, yet durable. i can twist the headphones 180 degrees and not feel any stress on them at all. the sound quality is extremely good as well. the bass is magnificent, it is so good i would compare them to beats!

The Skullcandy uprock are a great low price, entry level headphone for active teens. The frame is made of a durable and flexible plastic that make these headphones feel quite sturdy. The sound quality is pretty good for the price and they deliver the bass with decent balance in the highs. The mids struggle to keep up as well with the bass but you can still hear your music with clarity. I like the ergonomics and style for these low range headphones so yes I do recommend these to young and active kids who like big bass, tough build quality, and some uniqueness in headphone styling.

I am wearing these right now I gotta admit it's pretty good, my first time every using a pair of skulcandy's. They look excellent (all skullcandy's do). The quality isn't the best I would give the quality 4 star. It's really not that durable it could brake really easily so you have to take good care of them. The comfort is good also and I also give that 4 star, I could wear for about 4 hours after that your ears start to really heat up and burn. Overall I would really recommend this. Al thought if you look at the picture for the white/black version (on the package and website) you will see they show it having a white wire, but when you get it the wire is black, I don't really mind that I was just pointing it out.

These headphones are def. worth the money. In my profession, I need good headphones with good sound. The Skullcandy headphone produces a sound better than those expensive ones out there. I own 2 pairs. Now, I'm looking to buy a 3rd for my wife, who keeps burrowing mine. You won't go wrong with this product. And, for those minimal consumers who complain about the defects (not every headphone manufactured is going to be perfect), read your warranty.

These headphones are great for the price. But i dont know if these people that are saying great things about them have had them for that long. They will definatly last you a month but i've had mine for a year now and they're falling apart. and i don't misuse them at all. The plastic is cheap and will break if you carry them in a bag with other stuff in it. and the wire will wear out and you'll have to move it around to get full sound like all headphones. so if you want something just for a little while. these are good. but if you're looking for something to last a long tme don't get them.

    May 10th, 2012

I really like these headphones, I had the old ones (the ones before Supreme Sound) and those were great too. The only thing is that after around 2-3 hours of listening to music, you ears and top of the head will start to hurt a bit, because there is no padding on the top, which would help a lot. Other than that they are great, there are a couple differences from the old and the new. One: they have angled buds, so that it is more comfortable to listen to and they conform more to your head, I like them a lot. They also changed the box...a lot. It was the traditional ovalish box that was clear, but now it is a white box with "Supreme Sound" on it, it looks pretty nice. I really recommend these, but maybe put some padding on the top, so that you can listen to them for 3+ hours, but overall great headphones, especially for $30.

Sound quality is great too. Anyone saying there is little to no bass, check your device equaliser settings. it's not the headphones that are causeing the problem. it's your device settings.

    Sound A+

I've been wearing ear buds for years now and wanted a change of pace. Picked these up for a great deal in January and was blown away by the sound quality! Blown away, I tell you! It's amazing what they can do with headphones these days. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so used to ear buds now, but my ears get really hot after about an hour of wearing these, so they are more for short term use - or maybe that's why they are marketed for snowboarding. I love to use them for meditating since it cancels the outside noise and while I am cleaning house (I can still hear the music while I vacuum!) I bet they would be great on a plane as well - and much less expensive than bose noise canceling headphones.

I had the low riders and my dog did a number on them. These are nicer than the lowriders and more comfy. For 30.00 they are superior. Don't expect studio dulby digital but they still sound darn good! They look pretty classy and feel good. I don't use they full blast so they don't get hot to me. Just believe us this is a solid purchase

I bought these headphones to cancel out the sounds of little 4 year olds screaming for the fun of it but then they thought it was funny to pull them off ripping them out of my iPod damaging them. They don't work anymore but I am getting a new pair and they are staying home. They have nice bass and quality and will last long if taken care of.

I compared this pair of head phone to a pair of $200 dr. dead beats and they are a little better in sound quality, and they are much more comfortable. The uprocks are awesome but if you’re looking for a pair just to wear around the house you should consider buying the Skullcandy hesh they sound much better and aren’t much more money.

I bought my headphones from HMV, and when i forst tried them they were awesome. finally a pair of headphones that suited my needs! The only problem i do find is the common cable in the jack plug, after a couple of months this wire tends to break, and considering the fact the cables are so small! its quite easy, i would recommend trying a different jack plug that doesnt not bend as easily (yerno when you pick your phone up and move it about with the jack plug in) OTHER then that, i love these headphones, i now have 3 pairs and my 2 past ones are now fixed! i got these headphones the other day and was amazed how comfortable they are. There a headphone you could wear hours on end without having your ears get sore. The sound quality was good. They had good highs and mids. The only complaint was the bass... it was there... but it wasn't crisp sounding. But you cant expect anything more from a $30 headphone. Awesome for traveling.

These were about the best quality (in general) headphones I've ever used but after about 4 months, the wire had some issues and I would have to ajust it so that it sat just right so that I would even be able to hear my music. Thats the only problem I've had with them. So if you buy these, I recommend that you be ready to pay for another pair.

These are very good headphones, they aren't Bose or $300 headphone quality, but since they are only like $30 they will never be Bose quality. But even though they aren't Bose quality, that doesn't mean they are bad, they are actually really good. I (was) listening to these headphones while writing this review, and I just still can't believe how great they are! They have very good sound quality, and any music is very clean and clear on the headphones, there is no bass or any booster, so it is perfect for people (like me) who listen to just about anything from dubstep to rock. The cost is very low and totally worth evry small penny, and the plastic (although it seems pretty cheap) is very good. The only bad thing about these headphones is that after around 2~3 hours of listening to music in a row, your ears will kinda hurt and the headphones wil actually get fairly hot, but other than that they are great, especially for the price.

I just got these headphones, and for the most part i've been an ear-bud type guy. So a little skeptic when i bought these, for about a month i read over reviews for these and only a few times i came over bad reviews. I have the iPod touch 4th gen. and as soon as i plugged these in and listened to some of my music I was blown away. Great bass quality and overall perfect fit, an ideal type overhead headphone especially if you don't wanna pay over $50 for one. Definitely recommended especially if you love music.

I bought these from Radio Shack aproximately a week ago, and boy I was expecting for $35.99 them to be pretty bad, but I pulled out my Ion Discover and my laptop, and started scratching, they have amazing Highs, and the bass isn't as good as 'Beats by Dre' but what headphones can succsessfully compare to Dre, and I haven't had any problems since then. the cord is really thin, but pretty strong, and it has decent bass. I'd strongly reccomend these headphones for beginner DJ's or lower-class people who can't afford fance headphones

I got mine for Christmas in hot pink. Lets say I go to a very 'preppy' school where many kids have Dr. Dre. I must say my heart dropped where I got these and my best friend got Dr. Dre. However, being hard working 6th form students we decided to do a little study in our free. We got a lad to try on each head phone once and listen to the same song. He came to the conclusion that they're no different in sound quality! It absolutely amazed me because I knew there was a difference between skullcandy and my last pair but THE SAME as Dr. Dre. Plus, mine look awesome in pink, I must admit, i'm a very happy girl :)

I truly enjoy the sounds of these 40mm UPROCKS. It's 2 soon to review the durability as I just recieved them as a gift from my daughter. The highs & lows are quite good. They are a little snug on my ears so I doubt that I would use them during the Summer. Overall, an excellent sound for the price! I would recommend these in a heartbeat.

I recently got these for x-mas from my grandma. Although these arent the headphones I had intended to get (Agent's) They still ended up being pretty good. They're adjustable and they have really comfy ear pads but they look kinda weird when you wear them cuz they sit really wide. The sound quality surprisingly good. They have good bass and hit the highs pretty good but they do leak a lot ( leak is when the sound from your headphone can be heard easily by people around you.) To get to the point: Nothing Amazing but its definitely a lot better quality than what you would assume for the price.

hi, ive had a black pair of the uproccks for about three months. They are great for the money. I cant say anything bad but one thing. The wire shorts out two quickly. If the made the end alot stronger (The part where the 30 mm jack goes in) i think they will be the ideal headphone. Especially if youre into things like skateboarding. So if you buys these, be sure to take alot of care with the end of the cord. Do that and you will be just fine!

I got these a couple of days ago and I have to say these are better than they look. So lets get started! Well, first off, very nice packaging. The packaging is a nice slick box, like the Aviators, but all plastic. Before I open it I notice a very nice description or descriptions around the ox. Now time to open it. There they are. The Uprocks. These are a very nice and well built headphone. The construction is a matte finish headband and gloss finish sides. Very slick and plus they come in various colors for your mood and personality. Now for the sound. Pretty good. Nice bass punch and good all around. The only real problem is that for me the comfort isn't for me I guess. I wear glasses so it's not the best for people like me. But overall very good for $30. I also like the flat cable! Go get a pair or two!

Answer:
it probably depends on what you listen to and what you want from your headphones. beats were created mainly for rap music and may have slightly nicer sound quality. they may also be a little tougher than hesh. but it is not worth spending over 150 dollars on headphones that really are not much better than the hesh witch are 50 to 60 dollars.

Answer:
Skullcandy headphones work for any 3.5mm jack. If you are asking about the button feature on the mic'd, the android music player does not support the skip/previous option on headsets. You may have to install a 3rd party music player for that. From experience, TTPod has the settings for the mic'd button to skip songs.
