I really like these and have always been a skullcandy type of person, and i know you cant make products that fit one person but, i would really like the mic on the right side. i know you can just put the left bud in your right bud when you have the fit ones, you cant do that, if you could, please make the mic on the right wire

    Cord and Mic needs work

    May 8th, 2013

    by Andrew

I had this pair of Skullcandy's for bout a month when they were running good, after that the mic died to where i couldn't change music on the fly when needed, (I go to high school). But when the mic stopped working, i was in study hall trying to change music so then i could get some reading done, well when my mic died, (We can have phones out at this school), the teacher asked "What are you doing?" my reply was changing music. It was different to her because i always used the button, then about a week later the left earbud died do to cord damage. I've upgraded to the smokin', but i would recommend these to a friend for a shot period of time

    Epic Bass!!!

    May 7th, 2013

    by Austen Cottam

These little ear buds have been the best I have ever used. The sound quality is excellent and there's plenty of volume to spare. The only complaint is that the 3.5mm jack isn't very strong and so it wears out after a while, but for the price it's still totally worth it. Thanks Skullcandy!

    March 21st, 2013

    by Demelza

Bought these earphones in october 2012 and they came with a one year warrenty which was lucky as within a month the left earphone kept losing sound, so i brought them back got a new a new pair and 3 months later the sound is gone from the left earphone. Am now on my third pair of earphones and hoping they will last longer than the other two. I also miss the volume buttons that my original apple earphones had, but this is a minor drawback. The good side, I did find them comfy and the sound very good, not that I can say much as these were the most expensive earphones I had ever bought. If they lasted longer I would definatly buy again.

    I Like Them

    March 19th, 2013

    by LC

I got these headphones for Christmas and liked them right away. They have good sound quality and with the smaller earpiece rubber, fit very well. The only problem were that the wires are long and when I run with them they tend to get tangled and bounce out of my ears. Also, just recently the left earbud is losing sound. It will only work if I hold the jack at a certain angle or squeeze it, which is annoying and obviously impractical for a lot of functions. I'm debating whether I should just buy new ones already or not. I've only been using it for a few months, so that's unfortunate.

I just got these and I love them. They come with 2 pairs of ear gels, one small and one big. The jack is straight rather than a 90-degree angle (doesn't bother but good to know). The wire is actually a fettuccine wire rather than a normal round one which I heard helps to reduce tangling. They do leak just a tad bit (only if you're the type of person who plays you're music loud), but if you're on a bus, the noise of the bus should cover it. Usually, I'm a headphone guy because after past experiences with earbuds I wanted better quality. But, since I do a lot of running and can't run with headphones, I got these. The sound is great overall and the bass is impressive. To summarize this, I recommend these.

These were my favorite headphones for the longest time! i have had them for 4 months. They were great until the past week, one of the rubber ear pieces fell off, i had to put the larger rubber pieces on and they dont fit in my ear to well and they keep falling out. Also today i was getting off the bus and they just stopped working, they didnt get caught on anything they just stopped. The wire was coming out of where they headphones split which i presume is what caused them to stop working, i am very disappointed in these headphones. i would like to get a new pair but i dont know if should because i want headphones that are going to last.

I bought these at my school's bookstore after my other earphones broke. These were more expensive than my other earphones, but I noticed that these earphones lacked bass. Also a problem I keep having is the pause button is a little too sensitive. Also, I like to wrap my earphones on my ipod and put it in my pocket, but I can't do that with these because my music keeps turning on by itself. Also the L and R are really hard to see. I didn't notice them until a few weeks later. They are pretty comfortable though.

But just this weekend I was using them and they worked fine, but the next day I plugged them in and I noticed that the one earbud (left) had no sound coming out anymore, but the other earbud (right) was working fine. I basically am questioning the quality and how long they last.

    January 7th, 2013

I bought these earbuds about four months ago, and they held up well. They have great sound quality for the price. I have a few complaints too though. First, the silicone pieces come off very easily, they come off in my pocket and when I'm cleaning off earwax. I lost one of the silicone pieces on the school bus and was never able to find it again and I can't use them anymore. Second, the control button is too easy to press. When I am trying to roll the cord around my iPod, the button is pressed and music starts playing without me noticing, thus wasting the battery on my iPod. Now I have to unplug the earbuds from my iPod before wrapping them around my iPod. Where could I get replacement eartips?

I just got these ear buds yesterday. Before I got these I had the original Ink'd and the Smokin Buds, and both were great. Then I saw these at my local best buy. I remembered how much I liked the first Ink'd, so I got these. I was gonna pass these down because of no carrying case, but I still chose these. The flat cable is a great feature, and the microphone is great too. The most important thing, however, is the sound quality. All I can say is, MIND BLOWING! Bass is great, and no static whatsoever. These earbuds stay in my ear very well and are nice and comfortable, so now I don't need to invest in Chops. However, sometimes my ear gets sore from them and I need to take them out. All and all, great product skullcandy.

I'm rough on most other headphones but theses ink'd 2 can take the beating. I have heard beats and compared them to Skullcandythe do not make the cut for me . I got these after I lost my inkd 1. I don't know what people are complaining about as far as the bass goes. It sounds strong to me. A few minor annoyances though, these only come with 2 rubber ear pieces instead of the 3 that the original inkd had. They also don't have a sliding collar to keep the ear buds together when you're wrapping the cord up. But other than that, I like them a lot. They sound great and I'm very happy with them.

These earbuds are great for all kinds of music. I personally like to listen to pop and rap, and they work great for me. I previously had the issue with the regular earbuds without the inserts where they wouldn't stay in my ears, but these stay in my ears and wont come out. I use these for listening to music and I also like to take advantage of having the mike with the buds so that I can also talk on the phone. I also like how they look very good when you wear them, with the very cool flat cord.

I have other skullcandy products and I love them but the sound quality is just average with these. There isn't much bass, they fall out easily (I've tried every size), and they're so much worse than the first ones. I'm sorry skullcandy but you've let me down.

Had the ear buds for about 3 weeks now, nothing was horrible or astonishing besides the fact that they're already broken. I stopped listening to music with them for about 30 minutes, then suddenly the audio turns horrible. After they broke, there's a lot of static, no bass, and a lot quieter. Not good for ignoring your teacher in class if you can barely hear and understand the music. I actually had to learn today. The only way I will buy another Skullcandy product is if they're over-ear headphones, I recommend those much more than the ear-buds.

I have owned many of the Ink'd and Smokin' Buds over the past few years. With my first pair being Smokin' Buds I got for $15. I loved them they got broken and I totally forgot about the awesome warranty. So I bought a pair of Ink'd at near the same price, liked them but wish they had the volume switch. Well I ended up breaking them and remembered the warranty this time upgraded to the Smokin' for $15 and also bought a new pair of Ink'd because they were on sale and I figured I'd use them while doing stuff like yard work while using the Smokin' for personal use. Ink'd are very durable I even had a pair go through the wash and still work. I am now also a proud owner of some Hesh 2's as well.

The new skullcandy ink'd 2 earbuds pack a punch and have stellar sound quality, thes sound is very bright and although the lows arent as prominent everything still shines through. Overall these BEAT BEATS BY DRE. ~khaos

I purchased 2 pairs of these headphones and so far they've been great. I'm surprised they only cost $20 considering most of skullcandys other headphones cost more. The sound is amazing and they look pretty sick. i'd say they are the coolest looking in ear headphones skull candy has.

I bought my pair of Ink'd 2.0 because my Ink'd 1.0's wigged out on me, after several years of office use. The right earbud became staticky and useless. Months before my Ink'd 1.0's went out, I had shopped around a lot for a replacement and had bought the Skullcandy Hesh 2.0 for $60 at Best Buy. When I brought them to the office, I spent a long time swapping out the Ink'd and Hesh while my music played. I'd also replay songs from start to finish, trying each headphone. In the end, I found that my Ink'd' 1.0 were superior, so I took the Hesh 2.0 back for refund. Now that I have Ink'd 2.0, I realize that the sound is reminiscient of the Hesh 2.0. What's the difference, you ask? Ink'd 1.0 made me feel as if I was on-stage with the musicians whereas Ink'd 2.0 and Hesh 2.0 make me feel as if I'm in the audience. Ink'd 1.0 had a very crisp sound, making all lyrics as clear as possible, as if I was there with the artist. But with the 2.0's, I feel that sound is bouncing off of walls and it feels far away. I don't know what underlying technology or manufacturing process changed between Ink'd 1.0 and 2.0, but if things go back to the way things were at 1.0, I'll be in line to buy a new pair.

These were definitely worth my money. i havent had a single problem at all so far and i have had them for a good 5 months. i really like that they come with two sets of ear-buds, big and small, and the cord is still in perfect condition even with me carrying them around 24/7 in my backpack or pocket. you have to get used to the fit with the big earpieces, but that wasnt a problem, and they only felt weird for a few days.

First, let me preface my criticism by saying that these earbuds are a very good value for the price; they sound reasonably good and are pretty comfortable. However, I have owned two pairs of them in the last year and experienced the same problem both times-- somewhere along the line, one of the two earbuds stops working. I only use mine for walking to class on campus so they never endure any sort of extreme conditions or abuse but that said, I am quite disappointed that two pairs of these have gone bad on me in less than a year.

These are some great looking earbuds, but style isn't (or shouldn't) be the best reason to buy headphones. Sound quality should decide which gives you your best bang for your buck. I own the old Ink'd headphones and the sound on those is much better...it seems like they forgot to put any element of bass sound into these new Ink'd 2 buds. I find the old Ink'd buds to be much more comfortable as well. Basically it looks cool, but if I had the option between the old ones and these cool-looking buds, I would go with the old Ink'd buds in a heartbeat.

Improvement in sound, decline in quality

    August 5th, 2012

    by Drew

Alright, I've been a fan of Skullcandy's Ink'd line for several years, and I'm especially a fan of the lifetime warranty policy. However, I'm on my third pair of ink'd, and I got an upgrade to the ink'd 2.0 with my latest warranty claim. With the original ink'd, they'd last me at least a year without a single problem, and then out of nowhere they'd fail (either in an earbud or the mic/clicker). With these ink'd 2.0 the sound quality is 5x better, the design is 10x better, but the mic/clicker shorts out on me if I got so much as a tiny drop of sweat on it. This was never a problem with the previous models. I really want to enjoy this product, but I'm a cyclist, and I sweat after about 5 minutes of riding, and after about 6 minutes, I get random song skips, fast forwards, and Siri activations thanks to this lousy not-in-the-least-bit sweat resistant design.

Been using these for a few weeks now with my DROID3, and I love them! Calls are crystal clear, music is great (now that I've figured out my phone's equalizer settings and taken them off stock). They are comfortable to wear, and make long phone calls more bearable. My only dislike is that the Mic button doesn't work with the music player, only works for answering calls and the Voice Commands. But that's apparently an Android drawback, so those with iPhones are supposed to have no problem. Would love to see Android support from this company, would never buy from anyone else then.

When I had the old Ink'd last year, I was blown away by those, until the connector quit and rendered the left bud useless after about 6 months, so I decided to buy these Ink'd 2.0. All I have to say is, Wow. Sound quality is superb, bass is loud and punchy, yet doesn't over power mids and highs, which are also incredibly clear. One thing I will warn you about, is to take care of the connector, and where the wire meets the buds, as this is what kills these buds if not taken care of. Other things I have to say, is that these sound better than the Skullcandy Uprock, base Ipod headphones, and even the Beats by Dr.Dre Solo HD at all levels.

    Skullcandy Buds: The Best Still

    July 23rd, 2012

    by Chad

Skullcandy buds are truly a premium piece for their price. I've owned Ink'd (1 & 2), Holua, and Heavy Medal. Compared to the original Ink'd, I'd say these have a slight adjustment to have some cleaner highs. They still have some pretty powerful bass though, don't get me wrong. I'm pretty happy with these, once again! Even if they break, send them back, and get another pair or perhaps an improved pair. The only problem I find is that they do not handle serious highs and pounding lows well together. Alone, either are like silk to the ears. The difference between these and their higher end buds is the quality of materials used and the turned in design to hold them in your ears better (canal 'phones). Different materials used effect how much sound escapes, as well as how canny they sound. Seeing these are buds though, the differences are relatively minor. I'm excited to see new buds released, and I look forward to more in the future.

But that had been after a month or two. I didn't even do anything to them that would damage them. Sitting and listening to music is all I did, and not even loudly. The worst thing is I got them at a store and I don't know if they will let me return them. I will buy them again, but inked 2 needs some work!

I have had these earbuds for about 2 months, and they are still awesome. They were the first product I had purchased from Skullcandy, and they are fantastic. When I walked out of Best Buy with these, I was not expecting over the ear quality in a $20 pair of earbuds. They sound fantastic with whatever I use them for, from listening to dubstep to rap to reruns of The Office. I prefer the smaller sized earbuds, so having the pair to switch out was nice. For a price of only about $20, they are totally worth it. However, i have some doubt about their build quality, as mine broke after only a month. Let me get straight to the point here on these Ink'd 2(.0). These are amazing! They have a great amount of bass for the value. They fit perfectly in my ears with the buds given. What I most like about the design of this headphone/earbud is that Skullcandy has upgraded the style and structure to the Ink'd series. The cable is now a nice flat cable so it prevents tangling. The structure and housing of the small speaker is pretty impressive for only $20. Feels a lot sturdier than the original Ink'd. The color options are nice, too considering I got the Rasta ones with the warranty from my Fix Buds. Another thing is the Skullcandy's warranty. So amazing that they will replace you're headphones/earbuds with new ones no questions asked, either getting half the value due to physical or 100% replacement due to electronic problems. Once again Skullcandy, great job. Better than Beats Audio for the price and sound. Supreme Sound Stomps!

Good bass and everything, but once again, it just stopped in the left ear. It seems the flat wire actually detached itself from the speaker. I was really disappointed. These would have been the best headphones I ever wore if they didn't fall apart. I haven't even been able to return them.

The skullcandy warranty policy is also GREAT, that's probably one of the main reasons I stick to them. 50% off if you damage them yourself?! What more could ask for? August 10, 2012

SGP Linear case incompatibility Brought online, delivered next day. Great service there. However the earphone jack won't connect properly due my SGP Linear case. Due to the black plastic around the jack being to thick. I don't won't to take risk of carrying around iPhone without a case. So have given these to my girlfriend before I had a chance to try them. earphones didnt seem to be as good as ones i have got before. I have always been a die hard skull candy fan but lately it just seems like the quality isn't as good with these ear phones the bass wasn't as good and they just seemed like the bas was blown out. One thing I can say though is these earphones can take a beating. August 7, 2012
