i've been using turtle beach headsets for the past 2years and have had to replace them three times at $300 i've been using the skully candy G.I. headsets and i have to say i'm impressed i knew the sound quality would be excellent but it was the mic pickup i was worried about, but i have to say that you would definitely get a better deal price wise going with skull candy instead of some top of the line expensive company but amazingly the sound quality , the comfortableness , the mic pick ups , and the appearance of the G.I headsets are equal if not better then "the top of the line" ripoffs. i personally will be using skullycandy headsets until they are out of production

The sound is amazing and I can hear everything clearly from my friends talking to an elite sneaking behind me for an assassination. The mic works awesome as well, no one picks up on the little background noises or my breathing. The only downside is the comfort level of the earmuffs, playing for too long usually makes my ears sore and I have to take them off throughout because it gets too hot.

I love these. Mostly because there way more stylish than the head set that the x box 360 comes with for free.
