I have owned both the Skullcrushers and the G.I.'s. Personally I was a little bit disapointed. They have better sound than your average ear buds, or most on ear headphones and are by no means bad, but I thought it'd be a little better. As far as over ear goes, the bass sucks. Muffles outside sound pretty well and treble is good. Will block out any noise if you the volume is half way or more. I'd givem a 7-7.5/10.

These headphones are just great! I bought them because I was sick and tired of those wimpy ipod headphones and now all I want to do is listen to music all day. The sound is clear and the bass is great. And I'm a music person so I like bass but not too much of it because I like to hear the rest of the instruments and it gives just the right amount. The design is extra live as well. Denim with the belt loops??!! ARE YOU SERIOUS??!!!!! I absolutely love em. I plan on buying some more skullcandy's for my studio soon. Well worth the money!

these are prolly the best headphones i ever had they sound real good. the bass aint the only thing you can hear at full volume they also tune out the world around you. so worth the money

These headphones are SICK. The design is awesome, the sound quality is beastly, this is the best purchase I've made in a long time. I love that the replacement ear pads are tan, I switched them with the black ones right away. I also love the black and tan bandanna that comes with the headphones. I don't have much use for the bottleopener, but its pretty nifty to have on hand. "Damn, I wish we had a bottleopener right now" "Hey, check it out!" "Whoa! Sick headphones!"
I agree with Johntheone, you people at skullcandy need to get an angle on the punkrock scene, you could make alot more money $$$ :D

Actually excellent! all the goodies you get is rather remarkable, i especially likes the stencil you get for graffiti and such, to be honest, i don't see the point in giving the ear pieces the ability to turn on their axis. I do however love the embroiled skull, its one of the reasons i bought it... you guys need to stop leaning towards the hip-hoppy image, rock needs your input, seriously, i love the sneaky little nifty bottle opener that sits in the headband, truly!
But the icing on the cake is the carrying bag, spare ear pads with sleeves and the effin' bandana!! how cool are you boys, feck!
