How do you use the mic feature if there is only one jack? It can't be used as a mic and headphones at the same time??? Or am I just not understanding?

Answer:

The headphone and mic functions work all the time. Anytime you have the headphones plugged into your iPod or Mac, the mic will work also. However, if you have a PC that requires a separate jack for the mic, it won't work.
