Overall, these headphones are fine. But what really bothers me is how the left and right headphone is indicated in the same stupid color as the headphone itself. I have to just about take out a microscope to figure it out. Also, they keep falling out of my ears, which gets really irritating. But the sound is ok.

I'm used to more expensive headphones (mostly) so when I bought these on sale for like $15 I didn't expect much, had to kill $70 in warranty credit from SC and these looked like a good size to stick in my backpack. First I noticed the sound clarity, very lifelike (and that's coming from someone who has gone to goodness only knows how many concerts in my lifetime). Next I noticed the bass, more in fact than either of my DJ-style headphones, that was a BIGi surprise for something so small. The only two complaints I had (and the reason for docking a star) was the headphones get uncomfortable (albeit usually after a good two hours, if I turned down the music it might help), secondly, the jack has to be pushed a little hard to get it into the slot, of course if your trying to work out and don't want the thing falling out I suppose this would be a plus but for a laptop user like me its a tiny bit annoying.

The thing about Skullcandy is that they have the right balance. The mids are amazing, lows are decent, and highs are also decent. I have a wide taste in music and have never experienced any problems with them. I could go from My Chemical Romance, to Odd Future, to All That Remains, to Linkin Park, to Skrillex and they sound excellent with every artist.

I would definitely suggest any of the ink'd earbuds because of their great sound and bass output and great quality for the money. While it's not the most top notch in-ear earbuds they are certainly one of the best if your looking for anything under 30 dollars. I don't know much about skullcandy's quality control because I have only bout a few products from them but so far I am very satisfied. Thank you skullcandy.

I went for these because I needed new earbuds and was low on money, and had good experiences with a friend's pair of these in a different colour. The fit is alright, but the three different size tips it comes with range from too small, too small again, and way too large. These headphones are also terrible for running, as they constantly fall out, and the amount of noise they make from bouncing around, even while walking, all but drowns out the music. The sound quality is okay. It's balanced enough, and doesn't overpower everything with bass or ear-splitting treble, but it lacks clarity. These would have been okay pocket earbuds had they not gone out in one ear after having them for four months. If you're only going to be using them while sitting down and aren't an audiophile, then these may be a decent cheap pair to have around. Otherwise, go for something better.

Although my first pair stopped working in one ear after a short time, I was given a replacement with no hassle. I have had this pair for a couple of years now and still work well. The earphones themselves are perfect for those with different shaped inner ears!! I cannot wear any other type of ear phones due to this problem so skullcandy's are perfect for me! Can you bring out the under water version please?!!

I think that these headphones are very good. The bass, trebles, guitars, overall sound is really good. Buying songs off iTunes and using these headphones at max volume on my iPod Touch is too good. Not even the headphones that came with my iPod are better than these. I love these headphones because you're getting your moneys worth. They are only about $15 here at our mall and if i ever loose them or they break, I'll head to the mall and buy another pair. If you want loud, high quality ear buds, I recommend these. The headphones are good for lasting anywhere from a couple of months to a year or two, depending on how well you take care of them. But if you have the money, get the Over-Ear NBA Hesh ones, they have waaay more bang for your buck.

How can I put this? The sound quality for these buds almost makes up for their longevity, but don't expect Jesus buds for that price. These buds were some of my first earbuds ever and they didn't last too long. I loved the way they sounded, though, so I bought another pair...and another, and another. I get frustrated when earbuds break like that, but each set lasted me about 5-8 months each, so it wasn't too bad. (Other, more expensive buds do the exact same thing.) I've learned that, with buds, there's not a lot of getting around it, so needless to say, these buds are no exception in that department. What makes these buds so different is their sound quality for the price that is paid for them. I like their mid and treble, however, if you are looking for something that specializes in the bass region, these don't quite cut it.

The ear buds were comfy and sounded pretty good, but I also had problems getting the volume and mic to work on these ones. I also had the same problem with these as with my previous Skull Candy's, they stopped working after about 6-9 months. You'd have to hold the wire on the input end in a certain position for them to work.

I love the Ink'd headphones. they are cheap compared to some of the other headphones, but they are still the best pair of headphones Ive used. I bought some Dre's and I tried them out and I personally thought they were the worst headphones I used. I recommend skull candies to everyone and would never buy any other brand. i bought a pair of these at Zumiez one day after my regular headphones broke (microsoft) and these are amazing. they fit into my ear, they produce amazing sound quality and barely any noise comes out of them, so on average my music isnt heard by anyone but me. however as it gets louder these could beat my laptop speakers.

I've had these for at least 3 years maybe even 4 & for the money, these can't be beat. Sound: I would call myself an audiophile & I was amazed that for $20 these where almost as good as a pair of Shure in-ears that I also own. The bass is probably even better when I put them head-to-head but the mids, highs & over all clarity were a little lacking, but I am not complaining. Quality: They were washed & dried in the laundry machines at least 3 times & still worked like champ. Comfort: Better than most. I could wear them for hours & they never caused discomfort. Though, the earpieces did stay stuck in my ears sometimes. Sadly, I dropped my mp3 player & it happened to land on the headphone jack causing the left side to go out, but SC will give me a 50% discount that I'm gonna use to replace these.

So this is my 4th pair of earbuds in three years. So yeah, you get my point in buying Skull Candy. So far, they're fantastic. No sound get through them except to what you are listening to. Which is great if you have annoying, obnoxious, loud friends and/or siblings. Great quality, great price. No problems at the moment except that I had to configure how much bass was going through them.

I've had these for a couple weeks now. I got them as a replacement to my Titans I sent in with the warranty. **I listen to a lot of Club/Techno/Dubstep/DnB, and I must say these sound as I expected them to.. They carry tons of bass and clear highs. I have been a customer for a long time and these are a great set... I'd grab a pair while you can.. **The nylon cord is great too. I had the plastic cord on my old titans and it got worn out and broke after a couple months, I work out with these headphones on a daily basis and they just seem to feel a lot stronger than I imagined. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I've had like 3 pairs of these guys. No issues with bass response at all. They're not too boomy, and they're very balanced. That being said, if you give them a ton of bass, they WILL pump it out without complaint. I have yet to make them distort or crackle. There is a small place around 5-6KHz where the plastic (or something) resonates, and it can really cause those frequencies to get overpowering, but i only notice that in the pair i currently have. I never noticed it before in any of the other pairs. Very nice headphones for the money. I'm currently using the pair without the mic, but i'm looking forward to these dying so i can get a pair with the mic. The left side is always the first to go, but that's probably due to the straight plug, and the fact that i'm brutal on my headphones. With that in mind, i hate L plugs even more.

The jack part of the buds is so sensitive that when the buds are used for a certain amount of time, especially with tension on the jack, the buds only halfway work or completely don't work. They are great quality earbuds for how much they cost, but unless you activate the Skullcandy Lifetime Warranty, you'd be better off buying some other headphones, and not waste your money buying these repeatedly.

The sound quality of these is great for the price. I've been hearing that they compare to higher priced competitors' products and usually, that they are even better. I just bought my second set tonight. The originals went to the gym a lot and even got left in my pocket and washed. They never failed me. Only reason I bought a 2nd set is because I lost the others. These ear buds are awesome for the price and are very comfy for about three hours then they start to bother me. How ever I have had them about 3 months now and they are starting to become fuzzy like a bad radio station, so I might get them replaced but I'm not sure because I just ordered the riot in yellow and the red and black 50/50 earbuds so I hope that both of those are a little better quality over all I think that If you have a little more to spend I would definitely get a higher quality pair but if you are like me and don't have a lot of money to spend I would definitely recommend these!!!!!!!!!

This was my second pair and it started having the same problem as the first pair; problem with the wire connected to the plug. After a few moths use, one ear piece stops working, and then they both die. Tweaking the position of the wire makes it work for sometime. They need to re-design it (maybe bend 90 degrees so there is no stress on the point of connection)

These headphone have great sound and are very comfortable. But if you are a person who likes to listen to music while moving or playing sports i would not recomend these. The cords are VERY sensitive and when brushed against your shirt, or the cord being moved causes very annoying sounds while trying to listen to music. These are def not my favorite skull candy headphones.

i got a pair of these earbuds about 8 months ago and they are still working great! even after taking a trip through the washing machine they are still in perfect working condition. the bass is great on these and if you are looking for some quality headphones but dont have a lot to spend i would really recommend a pair of these. some people complain about how they break and ive had pairs that broke kinda fast too. but, with the awesome lifetime warrenty offered you just stick the broken ones in the mail and then you just go get another pair! its a great deal if you ask me

I got these earbuds 3 weeks ago and they are excellent. They have awesome sound quality and the bass is good. I'm also amazed that the speakers don't blow out if you have the volume high and the sound doesnt fade away if you drop them. However, the earplugs put some pressure in my ears after a while but these are still great earbuds. I would recommend these to all skullcandy users and people who like earbuds better.

I bought a pair of Ink'd 3 or 4 years ago at FYE to listen to music at work. They caught my eye because they were only like $15 or $20 bucks at the time and I decided I'd take a gamble on them. I just sent them back because the left bud quit playing music, which seems to be the biggest problem after further research, but skullcandy stuck to their warranty and now I have decided to go with the smokin buds just to see how they are. If this is the first pair and you're just wanting to see what they can do, I'd highly recommend these because the sound is great and they block out a lot of noise so you can concentrate on what you really want to hear which is the music. I also thought they were super comfortable and if music wasn't playing couldn't even tell they were in my ear. I'll never have another brand other than skullcandy for sure. The only reason I did not go 5 stars is because it appears the earbud losing sound is quite a re-occuring problem. Other than that I'd say 5 stars all the way.

I just received them today and I love em! I have an I Pod Nano and the stock ear buds suck. I cannot keep them in my ears and the sound is poor. These, however, fit beautifully in my ears. it has amazing sound quality and comfort, but after a month and a half, it burned out. but i think thats just me by the looks of the other comments. BUY IT!

I Had my phone on bass boost and these headphones literally shook my head ( it even gave me a headache) , then i put on some nice looking over ear headphones from the same price and i couldn't hear the bass at all, these headphones sound is finominal

Great sound... but one of my small tips fell off on a school bus ride and they don't sell small tip replacements... only large tips. I also have the 50/50 buds and the bass boost is awesome. They are fifty bucks and they are way better than these. You get what you pay for.

I have had these headphones for two months now and i am really impressed with them. Yes they dont have great sound quality but what do you expect from a 20$ pair of headphones. I have kept them in my back-pack full of books without having any damage done to them. I dont know maybe i have a good pair because all i hear is people complaining about theirs breaking. Overall they are a good buy for 20 dollars and i know want to get the NBA versions of these babies for 25$!

they are comfortable, i love the color and the wire length is good and sound is fantasic!!! however after about 2 months one of my earbuds alwasy seems to only work if the wire is in a certain positions then a little over a week later that earbud doesnt work anmore and then the other starts to go. this is my second pair and except for that i love it. try working on the wireing or something idk i dont make headphones just buy them.

The sound on these headphones were phenomenal, but after about 2 weeks, they fell apart. The whole ear peice broke into 4 pieces. If you are looking for a sport headphone, I would NOT recommend this. If you are looking for a headphone that is not being used very often, than I would recommend this product. I hope this review is helpful.

I want to start off this review by saying I got these to use at school. Just so I didn't loose a lot of money if I lost them. For the price they are good. I would recommend these because they are cheap. They don't have great bass or sound. I can hear the world if it is low, if not vis versa.

I have used the Beats by Dr. Dre earbuds, and sound quality wise, these are right up there with them, and are much more comfortable than the beats. Hands down, the best earbuds i have ever used. For under $25! just make sure you have the right size tip on, or the sound and quality will suffer. try all the tips it comes with and find the ones that are right for you.

I wanted to purchase low price earphones. I actually just liked how they looked. Then after opening the package and listening to my favorite music walking across the street I heard the bass! AWESOME! Like my songs never were alive until this. Wouldn't have thought they were this good by the criteria I chose them.

Don't buy these if you are looking for something extraordinary. These are just everyday headphones, and yes they do break kinda easy. These are the perfect headphones for if you need cheap-ish headphones and don't want to get your ears hurt by the in ear headphones that aren't buds. (i.e. the headphones that come with Apple products.) They aren't really meant to be for heavy listening so don't buy them if you plan on being a heavy listener, and you care a lot about music quality

They have great sound, and they are quite comfortable, but they don't last very long. The wiring could be better, since that always seems to be the problem. The warranty is really helpful with this, but I haven't been able to get to it lately, so I feel like I am wasting my money now.

This is my 4 th set. My first were Sennheiser cx 300. I lost them on the bus along with my phone. Then got the philips she 9700 paired them with 5800 and they offered good sound and were good with the split cable it offered. They served me well for a year. then I went in for the sennheiser hd 202 these head phones were the best that I have used so far but the 3 meter cable doesn't make it a happy headphone when you travel in public transport or go jogging. So they are stuck with my desktop and that takes me to the present skullcandy inked The bass good but is not that well defined as you get on cx, its a bit foggy. The highs are shrill in some songs and the mids are okay. Not recommended for bollywood songs. Good for hip hop, for everything else I have another pair of Phillips which lacks the punch but its good for all other genres. some how the candies sound horrible on my ipod and great on my nokia 5800. Highly recommended for nokia phone users
