Better than Beats by Dre
My brother has Beats by Dre, and I have these, and I did a sound test with them and mine, and these are more comfortable, $200 cheaper, and they have better sound. I am so impressed that Skullcandy can make better headphones than Beats By Dre, and sell them for hundreds of dollars cheaper. Extremely satisfied, and well done Skullcandy.

Pretty good but...
I recently sent in a pair of original hesh because the slider on the ear cup broke. I ordered these hoping for them to be a huge improvement over the originals. i was wrong. the mids and highs sound more crisp (which i love) but the bass is truly lacking. the originals rocked your ears but these dont

Disappointing.
This product did not meet any of my expectations based on the reviews that I read about it on here. I was quite excited to finally get these in the mail today. They're packaged well and the satin bag is a nice size for the headphones. I didn't mind the fact that they were made entirely out of plastic. The cans are made of what appears to be vinyl, which has a nicer feel and sturdier build than a basic plastic. They sound a little canny with the highs and mids, but if you're listening to Hip Hop and the like, it's not a big deal.
The only issue I truly found was that there was no significant seal around the ears. With the all plastic build, the design of the headphones provides no resistance when you put them on your head. They just sit there. They don't press onto or around your ears hard enough to provide the listening experience I expected. I tried pressing the cans onto my ears and they sounded pretty good! But I'm not going to walk around with my hands on my head.
I get more bass out of my Heavy Medal in-ear buds by Skullcandy, just to place a benchmark as to quality of sound. I'd much rather buy another pair of those for $10 more than what I paid for these.
