i definitely recommend these headphones for the person who listens to music more than casually. Theyre extremely durable and cost efficient. The bass and sound quality is amazing. The only flaw i can see with these headphones is they could be a little bit louder. All in all these are great headphones and i highly recommend them.

I just got these and I love them already. I'm using them mainly on a custom built gaming PC with audio off of an ASUS P8Z77 Pro Thunderbolt motherboard. The combination of the custom audio settings in the ASUS software and the comfort of the headphones is stellar!

The sound is excellent, they're very comfortable, and the blue/red Paul Frank monkey style is great. They're not cheap, but you also get a lifetime warranty from Skullcandy. The only thing I would change is to make the cord flat like on the Ink'd earbuds, because the Ink'd flat cord doesn't tangle or get twisted.

I use these primarily at home, and they have been pretty comfortable thus far, also, the 1/8" jack is a male/male cable that plugs into the headphone itself, so if you have a longer cable, or it shorts out, it's easily replaceable. That's pretty fantastic. The downside is that these start to bleed sound at a pretty low volume. They do a decent job of keeping noise out, but everyone around you will know what you're listening to if you turn it up more than halfway. Plus, these puppies aren't very loud in general. I plugged them into my computer and turned it up full volume, and it was incredibly bearable. Based on comfort and sound quality, I'd recommend them. Just don't use them on public transit.

I own a pair of Hesh and Hesh 2, and you can definitely tell the difference. The quality of the Hesh 2 is so much clearer, vocals are better and you have a feeling of the sound surrounding you. I think the bass is better in these than my old pair.

problems: 1- Lower quality than what was shown in the picture (headband was like a plastic wrapping & graphics were bad. They were darkened more than in the picture and therefore looked weird) 2- Uncomfortable. They make my neck hurt after a while. I guess they're kinda heavy 3- Quiet. I bought these in hopes for something with some bass and good midrange sound but these do not have much bass and are quiet when at half volume or less. 4- Bulky. These headphones don't fold so they take up plenty of space when you're trying to put them away Pros: decent sounding, gets loud (when turned up all the way) & can fit on a fairly big head (I wear about a 7 3/4 hat)

The Skullcandy Hesh are comfortable, affordable, heavy-duty durable, and have amazing sound quality. If you are a DJ and are looking for headphones that have great noise isolation, you should consider buying the Skullcandy Hesh 2. The only thing that I think should be fixed is, to make them a little bit tighter around the ears. You feel as like if there is a space in between your ear and the headphones. Overall, these headphones are Studio quality and are definitely worth the buy. I very much recommend getting the Hesh 2 from Skullcandy.

I got these headphones for Christmas in 2012, I honestly really enjoy them, and I am a HUGE Skullcandy fan, however, they don't get as loud, nor seem to have as much bass as the first Hesh Headphones, though the sound is much clearer, and crisp. I do recommend them to everyone I meet and do enjoy having them being a music fanatic! Very worth the price!

These headphones are just amazing. There sound quality is great and for the price its just perfect. For me they are pretty comfortable. Some people say to hurts after a while but it doesn't hurt at all. I can seriously wear them all day. They are also pretty sturdy. Had them for about 2 months or more, and they sound the same as I first used it. It has a great look to it too. Overall they are exellent headphones.

For the price of this headset you get your moneys worth. The sound quality: AMAZING. Comfort: I feel that i can where my Heshs for for a very long (2-2&1/2 hours) before i start feel discomfort. One other thing I like personally is that when im listening to music that has heavy base or in a rock song with heavy drums and guitar and you just zone out for a while you feel as if your right next to the band. Also i have accidentally dropped my headphones from at least 7 feet and they still work perfectly.

When i first got my headphones it was three days before Christmas and i still have them now and they still work awesome the only thing that i dont like about them is that when you adjust them alot they start to get loose then you have to kind of bend the earcup a bit and then adjust them. I got the Kevin Durant edition and they look, sound, and feel awesome and they are cheaper than the Beats by Dr. Dre so I recommend them to the people who are thinking about getting them.

When I first opened the box, I was amazed by the quality of the headphones. I started listening to music, a huge improvement from my Sony MDR's. Although the listening experience was great, my ears hurt. I had to take them off for a while because it just hurt way to much. Otherwise, comfort is great.

I got these four days ago. I really wanted to get some over ear headphones I was thinking of getting soul republics but i have been a costumer of skullcandy for a long time and skull candy has life time warranty. well when i got them the box was kinda beat up ( but the product was fine) well when i first started to listing to them they were really good but what i noticed is it sounds like the base of the inkd2 Is better then the hesh 2.0( I was kinda hoping that the hesh was going to have really good base but the inkd beat it (I mean it has good base just not like inkd ) I think im going to get some aviators when these break.

Well, the first pair i bought of these were blown and has problems with the cord input. Sent them back and received another pair, this pair sounds much much better, as long as you get the plug in right... first only the left side worked, and it the music sounded far away. Once i messed with the cord enough i found that having the end you plug into the head phone needed to be out just a tiny bit, also the end that goes into the device your using, needs to be out one prong. When i figured all this out, it was like music heaven! To bad it takes this much messing around with, but for the sound quality that i now get, the pros out way the little cons. I recommend these simply cause if your willing to have to mess with them a bit (might just be my laptop?) then you will love this headset!

I have had the Hesh 2 headphones for, lets say, a year, and they do NOT disappoint. The sound quality is flawless (to me, at least), and they are very comfortable. I have dropped them countless times, and there is literally not even a scratch. The headphones, if not plugged in fully, cut in and out, but I don't think it happens very much, that people don't plug the cord in all the way, so this is not a concern. Also, after wearing for multiple hours straight, they start to get uncomfortable, but I feel like I wear headphones as long as humanly possible at one time, so this is also not a concern. The headphones are extremely comfortable before the umpteenth hour straight wearing them. Like, really comfortable. In conclusion, I think the only thing I don't like is that Skullcandy didn't give my a star number 6 for "Extra Credit" Yeah, they're that good. Go to the store and buy these headphones. Stop debating.

The Hesh 2 headphones have many things going for them. Unfortunately, sound quality is not one of them. I recently purchased a pair and have a few issues. While you can hear some of the mid-range and treble frequencies coming through, they seem to be muted. I'm wondering if this is a result of the (seemingly exaggerated) bass which does not disappoint. I have been an audiophile for 30 years so I know what the music I listen to should sound like. Sadly the Hesh 2 headphones are not quite there. People following today's trends such as Dub-Step and Hip-Hop are primarily concerned with how deep the bass sounds. This is fine but headphone manufacturers should not manufacture headphones that simply reproduce that exaggerated bass at the expense of the higher frequencies. Others rate these headphones as great because they are only concerned with the bass. This is too bad because they miss so much otherwise. My other complaint about the Hesh 2 headphones is that they are not quite loud enough. Stop worrying about people being irresponsible and damaging their hearing and let those of us who want to turn them up. On the plus side, these headphones are very comfortable for extended wear and the noise dampening is nice too. Too many times I've been interrupted when listening to headphones by people asking me to turn my music down because the sound is disturbing them. I have not experienced this problem with the Hesh 2 headphones. Overall the Hesh 2 headphones are pretty good but they are not yet good enough.

These were the first over ear headphones i have ever owned. I have had them for just under a year, and the sound is great. I am a really big fan of Skullcandy's Supreme Sound system, and would argue that it is even better than Beats by Dre or Sennheisers. While the sound is awesome, they are not comfortable at all. I like listening to music for a long period of time, and with these cans, they get uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes of use. I am a glasses wearer, and the wide ear cups press my glasses strongly into the side of my head, and this gets very uncomfortable. Also, there is no padding of any sort on the flimsy feeling headband. It digs into the top of your head. Putting a hat on underneath them helps, but it s makes a) The headphones looked stretched out and b) you look like a pretentious tool. These are very good for sound, but lack comfort. I am going to be buying Aviators soon, and will do a review on those.

the hesh 2 are amazing. they have great booming bass that does not over power the vocals and they are at a great price. they only con for me is the left ear were the plug pluds in is that it makes cracking noises depending if the song has bas or it doesnt. other than that ive been listening to a bunch of skrillex and bass nector and zomboy ect. at full volume and they sound amazing!!! they havnt burnt out yet and i love them!!!

There are many good things about these headphones. The sound quality is great. For all the music that I listen to, it delivers absolutely great sound quality. At first, I was just a tiny bit disappointed at the bass quality, but got used to it. Then, I played around with the EQ on my iPod and now the bass is where I want it to be. The design on these is also very good. I've had these for a long time now (possibly a year) and still look relatively new. The comfort levels for these are very high, but they start to get sore on your ears after awhile. These are good to use up to about maybe 30 minutes of listening. A good range for using these would be about 30- (possibly) 45 minutes at a time. Other than the minor discomfort levels, I would absolutely say that these are some of the most high quality headphones you can get around. Well done, Skullcandy.

I just received my black on black hesh2. When I first started to listen to them they weren't very lively due to lacking bass and lower notes. The sound wasn't very rich... Until I used an equalizer. I have an android and the the equalizer bars resemble a V and it helps them reach their potential. I haven't had burn out time on them , so until then, I'll keep using the EQ. But they sound beautiful. ..

Construction and material is really second to none. Phones feel solid but light enough you can forget they're there from time to time. Sound quality is great listening to a wide variety of music types - pop/rock/techno. My use of the Hesh2 borderlines on extreme, >5hrs a day 2-3x/week, in the last hour or so I find myself giving my ears a break every few songs.

These are really good headphones with amazing sound and quality but they could use more bass. I've noticed that these headphones pick up higher levels of bass but they still need to be turned up kinda high to get a pounding feeling. So basically they just need better performance in the lower ranges. Otherwise these are amazing!

The design it really amazing with leather padding and a matte finish which I prefer over the glossy finish, the highs mids are good but the one thing that they left out was a little more bass. It's all right but could of added a little more bass but, the incredible mids and crisp highs make up for the bass. Better than most of the beats for 200 up vs. hesh 2 for 80 bucks that have better quality, design and sound. I highly recommend these vs the beats.

I got these headphones 2 days ago and I fell in love as soon as I put them on. The bass is great, they are very comfortable and the noise cancellation is excellent. The first day I had them I brought the to school and all my friends loved them and were amazed at the price.

I have owned a pair Hesh 2s for a few months now, and i love the sound. For this price it would be hard to find another pair of headphones with sound this amazing. I have only 2 gripes with the headphones. One is that it isn't that comfortable. It feels slightly loose on my head sometimes and i can't listen to music for hours without it start get irritating. My second complaint is that it does a poor job of blocking out sound. If no music is playing, i can hear almost every conversation i could hear with the headphones off. In conclusion, if you are a person who uses headphones just to listen to music every once in a while and you don't care for noise isolation, then this is the perfect pair of headphones you.

I am by no means an expert but here's my opinion. I used to have a pair of Bose ( I think A2). I honestly think these rival these, especially for the majority of people who rip songs at less than 320kbps. The value is awesome, and they're very comfy. The only thing I might notice is that I might like other headphones a little better for hip hop but everything else seems good. And honestly it might just be in my head...

IIf you are thinking about getting a pair of skullcandies, please read this. The skullcandy hesh 2.0 headphones give you great bass and they are cheaper than beats. I tested these headphones at a tech store in this way. First,I listen to the song that the other headphone demos had. Then, played the exact same song on a smartphonewith a pair of hesh 2.0. I went with the hesh 2.0 since it came i great colors, it had a LIFETIME warranty, and it is CHEAPER. i am not writing because i am on skullcandy.com, but because i truly think these are better.

I saw the other reviews and thought 'these are the ones i want'. They are a HUGE improvement from my *awesome* apple earbuds. they are also a lot more comfortable than headphones other headphones I've owned, and also the sound is a lot better. It has a very clear sound and i can finally understand some song lyrics i was never able to understand with previous headphones I've owned. They also look a lot cooler! :)

Ask my parents for a pair of Beats headphones for christmas and they got my these instead. I was bummed at first because id already had a pair of Panasonic knock-offs and they stunk. anyways, i plugged them into my Zune (Microsoft's knock-off of the iPod) and they sounded crystal clear. No burn-in, no doing this and that to get them warmed up, perfectly clear with the first song...they're great!

i bought these headphones yesterday after i had been looking around a few days for them (they were out of stock everywhere). when i finally got home and plugged them into my iPod the sound came blasting out of the left speaker so i took them off immediately. I tried them on again at a low volume. At first i couldnt hear the song; i had to press the cord of the headphone into the headphone to hear and the song sounded like it was far away. I unplugged them then plugged them back in and they sounded awesome (i hope thats how they usually sound). I woke up the next morning and the sound only came out of one ear and it sounded far away.Going to take them back today hopefully for a non-defective pair. I hope they sound like they should. I think i just got a defective pair.

I got the Carbon/Red as a Christmas present this year and I was STOKED to try them out. This is my first pair of non-bud phones from Skullcandy. Unfortunately when I went to test them out the music was scratchy and rattling. I tested them on my phone, iPod, and laptop with the same results. Even with the max volume on I could still barely hear the music. These phones are super comfortable and look even more amazing in person. I'll be sending them back and ordering the same ones. Hopefully theses live up to the reviews I've gotten!

Ive never been one to go out and buy a pair of Bose or some other big brand speaker company's headphones cause it didnt seem worth it at all. Now i fell in love with skullcandy years ago after winning a pair in a ski competition and i think ive owned 10 pairs or so of the various types of head phones ever since, and the reason i fell in love was the superior sound quality compared to what i was used to, and the price was great. But i could definitely tell when i demoed a pair of bose at like best buy or something that i didnt have the best sounding speakers on the market, but i always looked at the price difference and i was still on the side of skullcandy. then i decided i was going to purchase these when i saw them released and when i first got them, they never came off my head the whole day. the quality blew me away. the comfort level, frequency response of the speakers, and the overall feel of the headphones was astonishing. I listened to old songs that i thought i was sick of but i found myself liking it all over again due to the quality of the headphones. now i thought that feeling of obsessiveness would leave after the first day and i would simply get tired or bored or it and they would just be normal headphones again. this wasnt true in the least bit. I've used them for 6 hours a day on average, and no exaggerating, ive fallen asleep with them on and woke up in the night with my music still playing. these are truely incredible headphones and i would recommend these to dr dre himself, thats how much i like these.

Theses headphones are amazing. They are over-ear headphones, so your ears fit "inside" of the cans. The sound is superb. The bass isn't "thick and creamy," but it is still there and if you hold the headphones, you can hear them vibrating. The vocals are crisp and clean. It hits the highs, mids, and lows perfectly. If you are upgrading from in-ear headphones, then this will be like heaven for you. I had a problem with the headphones having a minute gap in the front between my head and the headphones, so a little sound leaks out, and you don't the full range of sound these wonderful headphones have to offer. If you hold the headphones to your head and form a complete seal, they will completely blow you away. Sound leakage is very minimal, but still leaks some sound. They are comfortable except for the headband hurt my head after an hour or so of listening, but I got used to it and no longer have this problem. They look a bit ridiculous on your head, with two semi-circles sticking out of your head. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so you might not find this to be a problem. If you're looking for a pair of great sounding headphones for low cost, you've found the right pair.

Just received my Hesh 2's. Really pleased with the sound. Read Reviews about the lack of Bass, not for me, solid Bass. I am not an audiophile, and have only used the ear bud type of headphones. I also read reviews about the lack of padding on the top of the head band, but only a few of them have no padding (you can see the difference in the pictures on line). I had a pair of the B*** $300+ noise canceling headphones, had to return them. I liked the noise canceling feature but with these Hesh 2's you don't need it, the passive canceling works well, and once you start the music you don't notice the ambient noise. Love the sound. These are a great value for the sound you get from them. I am looking forward to my next pair from Skullcandy.com, think it is going to be the Cassette style, for travel.
