This is my 2nd pair of skullcandy headphones. They fit perfect when you put the foam ones in and sound is good. But only after weeks the sound has started messing up. It seems like a connection issue.

I absolutely love these headphones. I've always just went for the cheaper INK'D headphones, but I'm so glad I went for these instead. The sounds quality is great, and can't even compare to previous headphones I've purchased. Easily worth the price!

    Almost 5/5

    April 27th, 2012

    by DJ Hallson

This is my second pair of FMJ's and I love them almost as much as my first pair. The one thing I didn't like about the previous pair was the braided cord and they fixed that with the new rubber cord. The one change I wish they didn't make is the control box on the cord. They changed it and now there is no volume control. That is the only reason (and for me a daily major inconvenience) that the FMJ's will not receive my 5/5!

    Great buds, not for cycling.

    April 25th, 2012

Theses things are great. awesome sound and a killer warranty. however, if you ride a bike with these in your ears they are not very aero at all, so you get a lot of wind noise. Kinda bumbed about that, but i have switched to using these as my chilling ear buds and the Fix buds for biking.

I bought these things and had them for about a month...they broke for my own fault with pulling on the wire too much. But these things have amazing bass and clearity. I was walking and listening to dubstep at the same time and all I wanted to do was just lay down and listen. It was jaw dropping how many hits and beats I was missing out on when listening to the Smokin buds!

Totally the best ear phones I ever bought! there better than my hesh to! There very hard to break but after abought a year the cord kinda wiggles its way out and cuts sound out of an ear or somthing.... Over all the the bass is rediculus the "clearness" rivals the dre beats buds. Make sure your in a freezer before you listen to dubstep on these other wise your face will melt off!

Answer:
I can't speak for the FMJ but I have had both the FIX in-ear and the Heavy Medal and liked the HM's better. Sound in the HMs was a little better (but both are good) and while the FIXs are specially designed to stay in your ears better the HMs did a good job and I never had a problem with them falling out.

The Holuas are out of stock because they are updating the drivers from 2011 to 2012. Skullcandy says it will take 90 days for them to be back in stock so nobody can give you the comparison yet of both but I can tell you that the FMJ's are extremely clear and the bass is so intense you will have to sit down. Dubstep is a personal favorite to play on them.
