great dock
it looks great, i was surprised how well it sounds for a small unit. it's not window shaking loud but for what it's use is it is very loud like the bass and treble knobs i too like the old school amp look i would recommend it to anyone i think im getting a second one for my rv .

UNBEATABLE
I was looking for a good speaker dock that wasn't too expensive for a very long time, and I came across this dock. All of the other docks I was looking at were by other major brand names such as sony, but not even those included what skullcandy did; tweeters. I was very surprrised to find such an inexpensive dock with 2 woofers AND 2 tweeters with the power to adjust music to your liking. The result of this is simly amazing sound. perfectly balanced with no flaws. The sound quality is similar to our expensive home stereo speakers. This dock is like a mini stereo system. The woofers are very good and deliver strong bass. Not only do you hear thumps from the kick of a drum, but you can actually hear the hum of the bass guitar very well. Everything about this dock is perfect. The design, look, and sound is amazing at such a price! The dock is also different from others because it is curved, allowing a wider angle of sound distribution and great stereo sound. This dock gets very loud as well. Of course this dock won't fuel a huge party, but it's a dock, not a home stereo, and it crushes all other docks near its price range. There is an auxiliary cord included to allow you to use non- apple devices or an ipad as well. There is a convenient remote included which can do volume, track control, switch between dock and cord input, shuffle, and repeat. My only problem with this dock is the remote because its range is only 10 feet. The manual said so, and it was right. Skullcandy could fix this by putting a small reflector behind the infrared light to reflect more to the receiver. This is very minor though since the dock without the remote is already an amazing buy.
Overall, What are you waiting for? If you are looking for a good speaker dock, stop now, because you found the one.

Awsome radio!!!!!
I bought this radio about two weeks ago and I love it!!! It has an awesome sound when your ipod/iphone is docked to it. The sound isn't so great when you use the cord but it still isn't bad. I highly recommend this radio!!!!!

Buy This!
This speaker sounds amazing over all even has a little kick to it, and i now being used as my tv speakers. Best dock i have ever had, totally worth it.

Great Value!
For the price, this is a GREAT little speaker. When off, it draws no current (0 watts). Even when on, it maxes out at 9 watts. Fills my kitchen and dining room with great sound. Dumping my pricey Cambridge Soundworks unit for this. It is simple. Remote controls are great. It isn't a Bose, but for this price, who cares?

Great looks, decent sound for the price
Look, you're not paying for audio quality here. The price alone is worth the looks. Tested side-by-side with a Bose and there's no comparison - Bose sounds better, but SC looks better. In fact, the SC looks fantastic (like a Marshall amp) and the Bose sounds fantastic. Otherwise, it's a cheap speaker with a bit of sound adjustment, but don't expect any bass at all. Nor should you from a system this inexpensive or small. Boss is three times the price and sounds ten times better (hello....it has bass and can go very loud). But i was buying for looks, for a small room. You're not going to rattle the windows but you'll like looking at it.

Five stars for a reason!
Best deal around! its cheap, amazing sound, and awesome warranty. my power cord went out and i called skullcandy about the warranty info because for some reason its not available online, all I had to do was emal the spare parts dept and they sent a new one I didnt have to pay to ship my dock or anything amazing!
