I bought them, and after 3 months the left earbud died on me, and i could tell the right one was on the verge of blowing. I quickly traded them to my friend for his House of Marley earbuds (with only one working as well) which he purchased 4 months ago for the SAME price, and the Marley's are so much better and more comfortable. not even close to blowing the left earbud, and i listen to my music loud. (and the only reason the right earbud on the marley's doesnt work is because my friend caught it on a fence while running, and it didnt look damaged but the earbud never worked again, so it was a legit reason to stop working, unlike my Skullcandy's)

Amazing headphones for the price. The bass on them is great, and the overall sound quality is about as good as you can get for the price. After using them for 6 months, I accidentally left them in the pocket of my pants in the washing machine. After being washed, and then put into the drier, the headphones still worked perfectly.

I am Terrible when it comes to breaking headphones, i have probably broken over 300 dollars worth of earbuds in the pas year and a half, 5 pairs down the drain. these headphones hold the title of longest time without breaking in my use. they are not only comfortable but extremely clear and have great noise cancelling. I would rather have three pairs of these than any single pair of beats headphones, they are the same quality and way less expensive, i just wish i could just stop breaking them. so after my last pair broke i decided to upgrade to the heavy medals and when those break i will deffinitly go back to these

I have used these regularly since I bought them, I also bought the Ink'd with these but didn't use them much because this was more comfortable even though the Ink'd sounded better. they lasted some time but then they start to wear out. The green rubbery part split only in about 2 months. It's been quite a few months and now the green part is broken in several places but the headphones are still comfortable and working. I hate the mic on these, everyone complains from when I got them that they can't hear me when I am using my smokin buds to make phone calls.

    MY FIRST

    June 15th, 2012

    by Connor

first, these headphones are very nice, what attracted me was the color, but there is so much more to these then the cool color scheme. the design is superior to any other even designed by skull candy. they fit perfectly into any ear and you can even specify it deeper with different size earbuds. they are also extremely tough, i have ran then through the washer 4 times and even still they worked like a charm. the sound is good for the price...for the price. the sound is still more balanced and richer than any other headphone on the market for around the same price. however the reason it is not five star is its not the best sound even from skull candy. its good, but only for the price, but this is the headphones skull candy should carry its name on. having the best balance between QUALITY and PRICE.

I have been wearing these at work for 4 months now, just about everyday for 5 to 6 hours a day (I work in a warehouse). The left speaker quit working and Skullcandy is replacing them for free. Clean music, but where's the boom?

    March 20th, 2012

    by Darrin

I personally wanted to try these headphones to satisfy my goals of extreme bass, but when I plugged it in, the bass was minimal! I had a pair of the ink'd and dub before, both were too much on the heights for me, but the bass was great. I expected a bigger, better boom from smokin buds, but they lack performance in that department. If you're looking for sound clarity, this is a good option, but for bass hungry people...... Look somewhere else.

Smokin' Buds are not the musical journey itself. They're more like a ticket to ride. Or an enjoyable travel companion who brought an extra super-comfy pillow and blanket just for you. Or a friendly little sprite who lives inside your ear, delivering mind-bending dots and loops to your brain while making sure your eyes don't wander off in two different directions while he buffalos your skull. Whatever they are, they sound delicious. very true !!

I bought these hoping they would sound and feel as cool as they look. Unfortunately thats not the case. I found the small ear cushion too small and the headphones would slide out regardless of which cushion was in place. When I held the earphones in place they sounded fantastic. But again, had to be held. Also, they control button doesn't work on my Android phone except to pause it. Not helpful at all. Overall I found these to be of no use and no better in fit or comfort than the cheap ones included with the phone. Maybe I need your input for other selections....

    January 11th, 2012

    by Jacob

These headphones sound and look great with good bass and high end and very good middle. The only thing I don't like about these is the cable, which i would've preferred to be fabric, but don't tangle as much as cheap headphones because the cable is slightly larger. The Rasta ones are my favorite and stay in my ears well. Another pair of great headphones from skullcandy. remember when the used to be cheap alternatives? I think they've shown to have outgrown that and become the cheap, superior alternatives.

Indestructible!!!

I like using wired headsets instead of bluetooth for my cell phone, because I don't like the idea of my brain getting irradiated, and I also use my cell phone as my music player when I exercise. All of the other headphones I would buy would fall apart in my purse, or I'd yank them and....well..you know. These headphones are not only indestructible, but give me GREAT sound!

Answer:
What device are you trying to get them to work with? Try finding an older pair of earbuds and see if sound can be heard out of the right side. If you can hear sound coming from the right side on the older buds, it sounds like there might be something wrong with your earbuds. I'd claim the warranty and try getting a new pair if they've never worked out of the right side.

Answer:
It's what we would call "passive" noise cancellation. Basically that means that you're going to lose some background noise by the simple fact that you have something in your ears playing sound; they do not have active noise cancellation technology built in. Both the Titans and the Smokin have the Supreme Sound technology so your choice may depend on style. The Titans have the metal housing, and the Smokin' have a ploy-carbonate.
