Very comfortable, but not enough bass.

I'd have to say, these are probably the most comfortable on-ear headphones I've ever used. Lots of the on-ear headphones I've used were usually too tight, and so they pinched my ears, but these are pretty loose. Deffenately not for athletic usage. I'd like to see skullcandy do something different with their cord instead of using their rubber insulation all the time. This is the second pair of headphones I've had rip through at the plugin because of the rubber insulation. Make it more durable! The sound quality is great, and would possibly rival their in-ear headphones such as the Titans if they added better bass to them. IF you like to have really good bass response, look at their in-ear headphones, that's what I recommend.

I bought these close to four months ago, they have great sound, a cool design, their not too big yet their not too small and they are reasonabley priced. I loved them up until the right side of them stopped working a couple days ago, I guess i was too rough with them, I definetely recommend them but be careful with them, other than that they are really good headphones.

I had them for 2 months and they broke on me! And I used them only about 3 times a week! The sound was really poor compare to the beats I got. They were pretty comfortable though. But overall I think your much better of getting anything but scull candy! I had the 50/50 and they were terrible, but these are worse!

I bought these several years ago and loved them, but over the years, the sound quality has lowered. If I turn up my iPod's volume to near-maximum, they're fantastic. But at my normal listening volume, I can't hear hardly anything - so when I put in other headphones after listening with these I get blasted with loud music. I will be replacing these soon and I know I will buy SkullCandy, but probably not this style. They're fantastically portable, but not quite the most attractive things ever. I'll probably go with a different on ear style like athletic or Hesh 2. Otherwise these are a great deal and fantastic quality if you don't mind replacing them in a few years - or bump up the volume!

The headphones give comfort and a lightweight feel but lacks heavily in the sound quality. There is absolutely no bass and the quality seems airy and not very solid. If you want just a pair of headphones for random listening then they're alright, but they will in no means blow you away.

I bought these about 6 months ago, and i have to say, they are really good for their price, i love the way they fold into themselves, iv dropped/pulled on them so many times yet they keep on pushing though. I Pretty much was so impressed i came on here just to let my fellow gamers know, that my money would take me so far. If your thinking about getting a set, do it.

My whole family has these and i love them! But after awhile its gets a tiny bit uncomfortable and i wish they had cords that could unplug. Other than that, these are really good headphones for a really good price!

I got the Rasta 2011 Lowriders in October 2011 and they are only now starting to wear in the wires. Sometimes sound will go out of one of the speakers, but only for a second or two. I may have to get some new ones in a couple months, though. If you treat these headphones nice they will last you a long time. They have very good sound, are very light, and easy to stash into a bag. I will definately get another pair when these go out. (If they still make them, unfortunatley it doesn't seem like they are. Probably just selling out their last stock of them.)

I bought these 3 times... While they continuously break on me, my first pair lasted me just about three months. While the quality of these lovely headphones fail me constantly, I still really like them. Thank god for the warranty--which I choose still to buy these back with. As others have mentioned, if you have these on for too long, they get a tad bit uncomfortable around your ears, but just take them off for a bit! They're amazing.

I loved these head phones - Crisp, clear treble, full sounding mid and pretty good bass for the size of them - Until they broke. After about 2 months the audio cut out after a certain volume, rendering them useless. Don't play music with a ton of bass too loud, but overall, well worth the money.

I Love these head phones, great sound. The problem is that unless you have a loud max volume on whatever you are playing music from then you can't really experense the full amazing sound. That and they could be a wee bit tighter, just so you could hear the music better. Over all these head phones are amazing.

With awesome sound, a good fit, and great portability, these headphones are the best I've had in awhile. I've had them since May and they are well worth the price. Just wish it had onboard volume control and not just Play/Pause, still, I can''t recommend these enough!

Had these for about 3 years now, the same pair! no breaks, no wearing out, and no sound quality issues. heck im not even easy with these things i even hand them off to my kids for long car rides! i've tried those so called "beats" by dre and i cant tell you a difference between these other than 400$ more exspinve! usually im the guy whos going to tell you "you get what you paid for" but in case for low riders? simply put amazing.

If i do say so for myself for a small over ear headset these little dudes rock! the are louder turned all the way up than my Skull Crushers. i love these things there just the right size for about everything in my opinion. Get them if you can!!!!

Speakers Spin Upside Down

Comfortable. Yes. Good sound. Yes. The problem is that they are DJ type headphones. This means that they rotate horizontally 90 dedrees just above the yoke that holds the speaker housing. They also rotate vertically where the yoke is attached to the speaker housing causing the speaker housing to be facing the gound (best case) or be completely upside down when you go to put them on. Bottom line, they need to be fooled with and adjusted with both hands every time you put them on.

I received these in the mail after sending in my old lowriders, and I have to admit; these lowriders are much nicer than my old Xbox lowriders. They fit great, they are VERY comfortable, and the sound is simply amazing. I have not tried the mic yet, and I will very soon. I got my Lowriders from my last trip to England. I've been using them almost every day (5 hours or more a day) for a year and have never had a problem with them. Excellent sound and build quality. If there was a bit more bass it would be perfect.

I bought 2 one for me and one for my dad.My dad said he loves them its like a harmon/kardon system but smaller and practical. i recomend them to people who are careles and drop stuff by accident like me.

Received these headphones 2 1/2 years ago (so my 'value' rating might be slightly irrelevant). Brilliant quality sound given the compact size of the headphones. Recently replaced them with a pair of Skullcandy Hesh headphones, as the cable had frayed near the splitter, causing the right driver to stop working. Didn't have any problems with breakage as multiple people have reported. Some just need to learn to treat their headphones properly.

The only bad thing about them is that the wire breaks very fast. My first pair lasted about 2 months before both of the speakers stopped working. Got them replaced, these ones are around 2 months old and the left speaker has stopped working. But other than that, they're very good for this price range.

I just got these headphone about a week ago and i was expecting them to be good because my friends have and they said they were good. When i put them on heard the music playing they were amazing! the bass was good the volume was great! I love them! I got the lowrider purple and white one's and there really stylish too! Probably my only problem with these is that they can get a bit uncomfortable after a couple hours of wearing them but you you'll get use to it. All the skullcandy headphones are great my favourites are the lowriders and the uprocks because they both sound great and look really stylish! I love skull candy headphones get a pair for yourself and you'll see what i mean.

Awesome!!! the bass kicks some butt. okayy it's no for the serious listener but if you are a casual listener then this will blow your mind. the ear cushions get uncomfortable after about an hour and a half. but still pretty comfy. the body sticks out to much so you cant wear a beenie over it.

I always wanted The low Riders because they folded up, and they looked pretty sweet, but I was Leery of the sound Quality because they rest on your ears I also thought they were going to be uncomfortable. To great surprise I found the sound Amazing and you can barely feel the headphones! They are a great Investment. The fact that hey work on my phone is great too. I also love how they fold for easy storage. The only thing I was disappointed with is that they didn't come with a bag. But overall they are great. :)

I have had these headphones for about a month. They are very, very load but no sound escapes. They can twist in every direction possible and that’s very nice because you can have the headphones facing in front of you around you neck so you can hear music and your surroundings. They are also very durable. I dropped them a few times (even stepped on them by accident) and no damage at all. Over all, I recommend these headphones if you're not looking for to spending too much. The only thing I don't like is that they don't completely cover your ear but other than that, they are great.

These are my first Skullcandy over-ear headphones and they are splendid. the sound quality is amazing and they are extremely portable and stylish. my only cons are that the ear cups are a bit small and they sometimes have trouble staying on my head. these are small annoyances though so don't let them put you off. definitely recommend these.

these are good standard headphones, i recomend these to anyone, however at times there is audible static in the backround, but it is faint; not to big a deal. My only other issue i have with these headphones is comfort...after wearing them on your head for an hour or two, they can get a little itchy, and especially, they can hurt and irritate your ears a little bit. not your eardrums, but your actual ear. this makes them quite uncomfortable, but overall, nice headphones, not terrible for there price, and worth it.

i got these for my birthday a few months ago and i couldn't be more happy. i listen to alot of metal, techno, dub-step and other forms of rock. the sound is crisp, good bass, loud enough to drown out outside noise and the volume adjuster is a life saver. the portability is also a very nice touch along with the dj articulation. the only concern i have is that they speakers sometimes hurt my ears. i do have slightly large ears speaking in terms of circumference. i do find myself adjusting them from time to time. another issue was that they dont stay stationary on my head. granted i have alot of hair so it might be different for someone without hair. all in all, great buy for the price and hasnt broken yet.

Got these for Christmas and I totally LOVE them! and they're purple. The base as usual is great quality and they're super comfy and they cancel out all the other noise; my dad was sitting right next to me and I couldn't hear a thing he was saying. Which isn't a bad thing . . . :P

External Control

Part of the reason I bought these was the external control feature. When skiing it is nice to not have to take off gloves and mess with an IPod when you don't want a particular song. The only issue is that half the time the forward/reverse doesn't work. The pause function is perfect, but the other part could be improved. As far as sound, these are great. I haven't ever had an issue with SK and I own four different sets now. Clear sound and good highs and lows.
