Being my most favorite type of headphones out there, and after having lost two already, I treated mine like royalty and they lasted me a whopping 10 months. They're totally getting tougher to lose.

Not sure about the other ones, but the Chops are *terrible*. Grating, tinny treble and mushy midrange and bass.

They rest on your ears. They aren't like the ear plug design, rather more like the traditional earbud setup.

I would suggest the uprocks since their the only ones in that price range their are some for 22$ in the warrenty store but if you want some better headphones id buy the skullcrushers if u like bass heavy or the hesh for less bass crazy and little cheaper their are some for 36 in the warrenty store

The 2011 Chops don't have a mic, but there are many alternatives in the same price range that do. Riot and Ink'd both have the ability of being mic'd. The Tech Specs tab should help with any other hardware questions.
