NAME: Alessandro Barbero
HOMETOWN: Ceva, Italy & Woodward, PA
BIO: As a kid, Alessandro Barbero asked for a dirtbike but his father brought home a BMX bike instead. Good choice, Alessandro was an instant natural and hasn’t put the rig down since. Barbero has been riding since 1999 and began his competing at the Dew Tour in 2008. As a native Italian, Alessandro isn't shy about showing off his home town colors. He's been sighted competing in a signature Italian boxer uniform. Alessandro also invented a trick called the “Italian Job,” a mind boggling combination of spins and tail whips. Claiming his place in the spot light, Barbero has a strong competition presence all over the world with multiple international podiums. When he's off the clock you'll find this kid hanging out at Woodward Park teaching young riders about "le dolce vita" or kicking back in his home town of Ceva, Italy. It's been rumored he has plans to open his very own bike park in Italy.
