Step-by-Step Directions

  1. 1. Put 4 AAA batteries in AMP
  2. 2. Connect keypad connector into iPod+ module
  3. 3. Connect 30pin from iPod+ module into iPod
  4. 4. Connect 2.5mm from iPod+ module into AMP (ALL THE WAY IN!!!)
  5. 5. Connect Speakers male plugs to y-cable white connector females
  6. 6. Connect red y-cable into AMP (red painted receptacle that shows headset logo)
  7. 7. Connect one end of green bridge cable to iPod audio port
  8. 8. Connect second end of green bridge cable to AMP (green painted receptacle that says Aux In)
  9. 9. Turn on AMP from side of AMP housing (at this point, the AMP is in SLEEP mode to conserve battery life)
  10. 10. Turn on iPod so that it is playing a song (you won’t hear it at this point because the AMP is still ASLEEP)
  11. 11. Wake up AMP by pressing and holding 6th button on Sessions keypad (in the dead center of the star) for 3 seconds (a new LED lights up at that location to show the AMP is AWAKE)
  12. 12. Music will be playing in the speakers… adjust the iPod volume from keypad
  13. 13. To put AMP into SLEEP mode from the keypad, hold the 6th button down for 3 seconds (the AMP is still on in SLEEP mode using milliamps to conserve battery life)
  14. 14. To turn AMP off, slide switch on AMP housing to off position (power from batteries are OFF)
