Warranty for broken, replacement, gifted or defective Skullcandy products

 

Q-What does the Skullcandy warranty cover?

 

A-Your skullcandy headphones are covered one of two ways, Aggressive Listening, which is defined as:

 

Aggressive Listening: Skullcandy products that fail or break due to a crazy crash on the mountain or a violent head-banging session... or any other reason that is not a product defect, we will still hook you up! Send in whatever remains of your product, and we will send you a coupon good for 50% off any product in our Online Shop.

 

OR

 

Defective Product Replacement: Which is defined as any Skullcandy product that is still in one piece and not working properly or any product damaged in shipping.In this case you will receive a brand new replacement product at no charge. In either case you will need to complete our warranty form.

 

Q-I received a product as a gift and want to know if I can still make a claim without a receipt?

 

A-If your product was a gift you do not need a receipt and packaging, please indicate the date received and the store you believe it was purchased at in the issue field of the warranty form

 

Q-How do I make a warranty claim?

 

A-Please click here and fill out the warranty form, after you have completed all the fields as requested and submit your information, you will receive an email with instructions on how to ship your product to us. After we receive your product we will either ship you a brand new pair under the Defective Product Replacement warranty or call you if your item falls under the aggressive listening warranty. (Shipping may be delayed if your product is out of stock)

If for any reason you do not receive an email reply from us within 72 hours, please contact customer service at 435-940-1545

 

Q-Can I exchange colors when I am returning a warranty item?

 

A-To get a different color on a warranty claim please complete our warranty form and in the Issue field please indicate the color you would like followed by exchange and we will do our absolute best to return the color of your choice.

360 Lowriders

 

Q-How do I set up my SGS 360 Lowriders to be compatible with my Xbox 360?

If the diagram does not help, please follow the directions below.

Xbox settings- On the Xbox (not Xbox live) go to dashboard settings then to audio and change the setting from Dolby to Dolby Digital with WMA pro.

Xbox live settings-
    1.    From the Xbox 360 Dashboard, press the Xbox Guide button (the X button in the center of your controller) to access your Xbox Live Settings.
    2.    Navigate to the “Personal Settings”selection, and press the “A” button on your controller.
    3.    Select “Voice” from the menu that follows and press “A”.
    4.    On the “Voice” screen, make sure the “Play Through Both” is selected for the Voice Output selection and that the volume is set to “10”.

 

Stereo adapter

 

Q- I bought a pair of your Hesh Headphones and there was no stereo adapter in the packaging.

 

A-We apologize, but there were some problems with the packaging of the black Hesh. It is actually a misprint and the Hesh do not come with a stereo adapter, however we always cover our customers, so to get the adapter, email us your shipping info with Hesh adapter, in the subject box and we will gladly send you the adapter at no cost.

 

Bluetooth Products

 

Skullcandy Bluetooth products are only capable of playing in Mono.

 

Bluetooth products are collaboration products, we do not guarantee compatibility. Product's we are positive they will not work with are: 3rd generation Ipod & I phone 3G.

 

The Approach and Summit products are unavailable, please check our website for updated information.

Q-How do I get my iTunes songs to work on a Skullcandy MP3 Player Device?

 

A-We have a tutorial & video on the simple steps to convert your iTunes formatted files for your Skullcandy MP3 player.

Q-Hello, I live outside of the United States and was wondering what I needed to do to warranty my headphones?

 

A-Hey thanks for contacting Skullcandy USA we are always here to help you – seeing that you live outside the USA, first you need to get in touch with your local distributor .
