The South African Fashion Academy have 18 underprivileged students studying the art of fashion, 13 of these s
tudents need your help to make their dreams a reality. Two of South Africa’s altruistic personas have already embraced this exciting initiative – Jenna Clifford and Ryk Neethling the founders of Dream Big. Both these remarkable people exemplify the philosophy to “Dream Big”. They have proven to us that the highest goals and greatest dreams can be fulfilled. Through hard work, dedication, focus and love, goals can be achieved. Now they are asking you to share their passion – for passion ignites the soul! Their symbol is that of the Rose, it promises abundance and inspires excellence, it is the enduring symbol of love, passion, beauty and truth… it portrays “Dream Big”!
You have an incredible opportunity of uniting your efforts with theirs – of becoming Dream Makers! Join us at the all new, all different, exotic Silverstar Casino on the 17th September 2008 for an evening of inspiring entertainment, where Swing, Opera and Fashion explode in a fusion of brilliance. Meet other great individuals who have turned their Big Dreams into inspiring stories of success at 18h30 next to the largest Water Fountain in the Southern Hemisphere and the 2nd largest in the world and sip on the nectar of the Gods. Then be escorted to our magnificent function room where you are invited to take a seat at Hope, Destiny, Prosperity, Wealth, Love, Charity, Happiness, Humility, Success, Health, Inspiration and Courage.
Our two illustrious hosts, Marius Roberts and Sandra Ngema will be standing by to welcome you and keep you company throughout the evening. Entertainment will be in abundance with the likes of the exceptionally talented Mia who open the event with an originally penned song especially written for the opening of the event. Enjoy the breath taking talent of Gerrie Pretorius as he takes you on a journey of celebrating some of those Kings of Swing – Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet and more recently Michael Buble.
And just when you think you’ve had your fill along comes the amazing Jannie Moolman and Hanli Stapela – with the most beautiful sounds of Opera. And to add to the delight… the group Denim will also add spice to the evening! We complete the evening with a fashion show where some of the countries top models take to the ramp in the dazzling creations of South African top designer Julian.
No benefit would be complete without an auction and lucky draw. One is for the ladies – A prized original canvas of the one and only Ryk Neethling – inspiring others to greater heights, challenging you to follow your heart and to know that dreams do come true! Nor forgetting the auction of one of Julian’s creations. Lucky draws will see the give away prizes of day spa vouchers, destination holiday, a painting and many more.
