Last Thursday in Paris, Skullcandy held its official European launch event to introduce our new proprietary technology of attacking bass, natural vocals, and precision highs: Supreme Sound.
James Harden is lighting up the scoreboard this post-season for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The NBA Sixth Man of the Year and Skullcandy Crew member puts up points with a style all his own… that is, until we unleashed the infamous Respect the Beard bandana. Imposing? You bet. A fashion statement? Well, let’s just say it’ll grow on you.
Congratulations to Kevin Durant for being named to the All-NBA First Team late last week, receiving 117 of a possible 120 first team votes. It’s been a banner year for Durant, worthy of a second look.
Here’s a big shout out to Skullcandy’s Kyrie Irving, who was named 2011-12 NBA Rookie of the Year! Irving’s stats speak to the quality of his play (18.5 points per game, 5.4 assists per game and 40% 3-point shooting) but the first year pro’s leadership and coolness on the court speak to the quality of his character.
We have even more respect for the beard now that our own crew member, James Harden, has won the NBA Sixth Man Award. Harden came off the bench to score in double figures in almost every one of the 62 games of the 2011-12 strike shortened season. Plus, he had respectable numbers all the way around in rebounds, assists and shooting. It’s no surprise that Harden was the runaway winner of the award, with 115 of a possible 119 first-place votes.
