éS Game of SKATE — Simi Valley, CA, July 2, 2009
Skate Lab, the Skatepark/Skateboard Museum in Simi Valley, CA, along with Val Surf, brought the éS Game of SKATE out to the valley for a hot July afternoon of competition and skateboarding. An amazing group of just over 200 skaters was whittled down to a great final round that had Woody Wolfel, Brendan Villanueva, and Cano Cardenas battling against each other. In the end, a skater whose level of skill was only matched by his level of excitement, Cano Cardenas, sealed his trip to the finals with a super clean ollie-late-back-foot flip.
