A big shout out to our Skullcandy Legends riders for killin it!

Scotts Valley, CA, September 30, 2008- This year’s 10th Annual Tim Brauch Memorial Contest took place this past weekend and was definitely the most memorable event to date. Friends, family, and local skaters all came out this past Saturday and Sunday in memory of Tim Brauch, who was and is one of the most respected skaters of all time. Tim’s great talent and willingness to help local youth in skateboarding is what has kept this contest going for 10 years and that is why the leaders of skateboarding came to compete in this great contest.

Saturday, September 27 street contest that was held at the Scotts Valley Skate Park built in memory of Tim Brauch through the Tim Brauch Memorial Fund was a huge success with 35 groms and 82 ams entries all of which skated to the music of DJ D’Funkt. Sessions held 2 raffle drawings each day of the contest that included prizes from Skullcandy, Vans, Zune, Dakine, Dragon, Consolidated, Dwindle, Thrasher, Bones, Foundation, Nixon, Crucible and many more. SKULLCANDY + SOCCER!

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Friend of SKULLCANDY and member of the US Men’s National Team, Maurice Edu checked in before he headed off to Scotland to join his new team the Glasgow Rangers of the Scottish Premier League, where he had his debut earlier in September.  Mo earned a $5million move and headed from the Toronto FC of the MLS to Glasgow.  Keep an eye out for Maurice as he continues to add to his caps with the US National Team and turns heads in Europe.  Not bad for the young 22 year old, who only has 2 years of professional soccer under his belt!  He loves rocking his SKULLCANDY pack and Ti’s!

Come join us at the Goofy vs Regular skate competition this week Oct 2-5th in Lake Forest, CA.  Jamie Prescott will be holding the Skullcandy fort down.

It’s time for the tie-breaker folks Regular killed it in the first GvR showdown, and Goofy came back in 2005 and 2006 and shut up all the regs quick fast. then, last year, on ‘07, the Regulars showed Goofy that a three-peat wasn’t happening. So who will break the tie and win once and for all in 2008? Stay tuned to find out on October 2-5!  Etnies Skate Park Lake Forest, CA 92630.
