Skullcandy Presents: The Week In Music 6.14

Freshies: Tiesto Club Life Vol. 3 – Stockholm

Just in time for his performance next weekend at EDC, Tiesto’s latest album Club Life Vol. 3 dropped weeks early exclusively on Spotify. LED light enthusiasts and dance fanatics get ready because this one is his best of compilations yet. The album is almost equally divided between his own original tracks and remixes of some of the most talented beat makers trending right now. With remixes of favorites from Passion Pit, and Icona Pop, as well collaborations with Calvin Harris, and Dyro, Club Life 3 hits the spot on blaring base and perfectly choreographed moments for the beat to drop. We recommend, “Carried Away”, “Paradise”, and “Cango” to get your body movin.’

Currently Obsessed With: Pacific Air - Stop Talking is finally out.

We highlighted Pacific Air as one of our bands to watch out for last month and now that Stop Talking, their debut album has released we can confidently still back up our call on them gaining serious momentum on the indie-pop scene. Stop Talking is a beautifully written album filled with airy ballads on love, lifted by poppy drum kicks and softened by mellow back up vocals. Our favorites are: “Intermission”, “Float”, and “Roses.”

Watch out for: Cherub

Callin’ it - next big thing in the indie pop dance scene is the Tennessee duo, Cherub. With Prince-like vocals and 80’s disco beats we are stoked to see these guys make waves on the festival circuit. Kick off your Friday night with “Doses & Mimosas” and “Jazzercize.”

Follow supremesound on Spotify for new music weekly.
