The ultimate picnic is coming; fresh food, live music, and a dance party with your 10,000 closest friends in a lush park. Brought to you by Sweetgreen, Sweetlife Musical Festival is back for its third year in a row.
If you don’t already know, Sweetgreen is a Washington D.C. based chain of restaurants that serves healthy and delicious grub made from organic, locally grown ingredients free of hormones and packaged with the highest sustainability standards. If you're near one, do yourself a favor and stop by for some fresh pressed juices or salads made of super foods. (Really, It's dank.) Three years ago, Sweetgreen brought together the two best things in the world: food and music, thus creating the Sweetlife festival, because, well, it’s a great idea.
Hosted at the Merriweather Post Pavilion this year’s lineup includes: Phoenix, Passion Pit, Kendrick Lamar, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gary Clark Jr. to name a few (see the whole lineup below). We're particularly excited to see up-and-comers Foxygen on the Treehouse Stage. Like we mentioned before it’s not just music though, there’s gonna be rad food and drink vendors from the surrounding area too. We'll be at The Wharf area chowing down on some fresh lobster rolls and organic greens.
In honor of this sweet event, we've put together a playlist to get you amped on what’s going on. We recommend snagging yourself a pair of our Crushers and give it a listen below.
