Record Store Day Has Arrived

Record store day

Tomorrow's Record Store Day baby and we here at Skullcandy are pretty amped. There are gonna be a ton of limited edition releases available at local record stores all across the country. The idea behind Record Store Day stems from leaving the comforts of your home (and the internet) and to get out and experience something in the real world. To discover something purely on your own, TO WAKE UP.

We’re joining the likes of Jack White, the official ambassador for the Record Store Day 2013 behind the movement to support your local mom and pop music destination, “As Record Store Day Ambassador of 2013 I’m proud to help any way I can to invigorate whoever will listen with the idea that there is beauty and romance in the act of visiting a record shop and getting turned on to something new that could change the way they look at the world, other people, art, and ultimately, themselves”.

Check out this video for Jack's enlightening tour of United Record Pressing.

Follow us @Skullcandy on Twitter and Instagram for a chance to win a bunch of records that we are buying on Record Store Day, we’ll continue to give out headphones and records for the two weeks following the celebration #recordstoreday2013
