We’re jonesed to present the latest visual installment from Danko Jones – the official music video to their new single ”I Believed In God.” Directed by the Diamond Bros who are also responsible for the band’s four previous videos as well as “Bring On The Mountain” – the bands much heralded documentary that was released last year.
With the band busy touring, the video plays like a short movie starring Zelda Williams (daughter of Robin) and Jason Trost (featured in the Full of Regret and Bad Thoughts videos and writer / director / star of movies like The FP and Vs) in a love story… of sorts. Check it out here:
The softly lift and eerie toned video was shot in Los Angeles and enlisted a production crew worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster. Previous credits include, Looper, Men In Black, Predator 2 and many more. Directors of photography were Kenny Stoff and Jessica Young who also did Dave Grohl’s Sound City documentary.
