After spending a wild night with the boys in Zurich,we can confirm the boys of FIDLAR live true to their acronym name “f*** it, dog, life's a risk.” We were sold not just on FIDLAR’s SoCal punk rock sound but mostly by their care-free vibes. Relatively tame for punk music FIDLAR’s skate-surf self-titled debut album is more like the Descendents than hard-core. They’re better for sure, but carry that easy going sound for the average party enthusiast.
FIDLAR’s self-titled debut album has that fast and dirty rhythm that makes you wanna do everything at once. To keep it to the point it’s just a bunch of songs about beer, surfing, girls, and…well, not much else. These guys aren’t looking to get deep with their stuff they’re looking to promote getting ridiculous that we can get down with.
Snag FIDLAR's self titled record and blast it on your way to the skate park and back, hit one of their infamous house shows, mosh around, slam some cheap beer, and get a FIDLAR tattoo 'cause, “f*** it, dog, life's a risk.”
