Skullcandy Presents: The Week In Music 3.29

Freshies: Oblivion by M83 (feat. Susanne Sundfør)

Skullcandy week in music m83

M83 dropped a super orchestral tune this week for the release of the new movie Oblivion. The feature film’s title track is complete with a roller coaster of melodies, tempo’s and electro infused chords accompanied by the cinematic vocals of Susanne Sundfor. The song is a blockbuster movie experience of its own when listened to.

Currently Obsessed With: I Am Not A Human Being II by Lil Wayne

Skullcandy week in music lil wayne

We’re celebrating the return of Lil Wayne, back at it with, I Am Not A Human Being II.  Weezy’s latest album is loaded with inspirational tracks addressing his trials and tribulations about life pre and post jail. The first few seconds of the album alone are made of symbolic piano chords before filtering into Weezy’s hard flow. Filled with energy and plenty of sexually explicit references to just about everything. I Am Not A Human Being II may not be Weezy’s best record, but it's still good to have Lil Wayne back and just as crude as before.
