FIDLAR the – LA based punk quartet and homies of Skullcandy are currently tearing up, errr, we mean touring Europe. We met up with them to check out their set, hook up some Fix and 50/50 buds, and party down in Zurich the other night.
The local venue Hafenkneipe was sold out for the boys' show. Fueled by cheap beer, skate punks alike united for standard moshing and head banging. The majority of the crowd was so stoked on the boys set that no one noticed the band shout out an enthusiatic, “Hello Germany!” …in Switzerland. FIDLAR got rowdy, the crowd got rowdy, and us? We kept it totally professional of course. DANKE SCHON
Really though, check these guys out on tour. Not only is their performance ridiculously fun, they make the crowd feel as welcome as old friends. Their show is raw, real , and uncomplicated. You’ll leave with some youth rejuvenation and a new attitude mirroring the bands name-sake acronym, “F*** it, dog, life’s a risk.”
