Another successful TransAM weekend in the books. This time, we made our way to snowier pastures and bigger mountains and landed in Colorado at Keystone Resort. There, we faced the park innovation and genius that is Kevin Laverty and his crew of park construction masters.
The day started off with bluebird skies. Right before we began the competition, it started dumping… and we weren’t complaining. More snow = softer landings right? Unfortunately not for rider Josh Boeser, winner of Best Crash and Rider’s Choice awards. Well deserved Josh. Next time, you’ll get to accept your awards from the podium rather than the medic’s tent. Hope to see you shredding again next weekend.
Sean Murphy for Best Trick: Ally-oop Back Rodeo.
MJ Arsenault used every feature in the park to put his talent on display. It was a well earned first place.
1st – MJ Arsenault
2nd – Carson Anderson
3rd – Steve Lauder
Christy Prior, without ever seening the TransAM Keystone park, rode like the setup was her own personal playground.
1st – Christy Prior
2nd – Darien Gidd
3rd – Courtney Cox
The day finished with a pizza party and awards ceremony. Top 3 finishers walked away with some great prizes like custom Skullcandy Aviator and Cassette headphones, TransAM Coal beanies, footwear from Sanuk, Wend Wax, Giro helmets, and gift cards to Zumiez.
We travel next to Mt. Bachelor. Sign up now!
Make sure you don't miss the final TransAM stop right here in our Skullcandy's backyard at Park City Mountain Resort. Each night during the event, we will be hosting some killer shows in Salt Lake City. See flyer below. Tell your friends.
