SIA stands on its own in the world of retail tradeshows. An event that brings the babes and bros of the snow sport industry together for four days to talk product, drink beer, and watch guys like Eddie Wall and Steve Klassen punch eachother - for sake of charity of course. Skullcandy saddled up alongside fellow brand mates in Denver last week to not only promote our latest and greatest from our design teams but to also contribute to the party. Hence, the 2nd Annual 686 Lights Out Boxing Match presented by Skullcandy, 686, Grenade, and Electric. Blood-thirsty competitors and spectators alike came together last Thursday all to benefit the SOS Outreach. A youth development nonprofit that builds character and self-esteem in underserved youth through programs that offer an outdoor adventure. Before the event, contenders weighed in at the 686 booth. From pro riders to media reps, dudes lined up for their chance to get in the ring and release their inner beast. Guest Ref and Skullcandy homeboy Danny Kass regulated the five amateur fights that went down at Casselman’s. The main event featured pro snowboarders Eddie Wall vs. Kyle Clancy. After three rounds of battling Eddie claimed victory for the 686 Lights Out belt. Watch how it all went down with a video recap provided by 686 and stay tuned for photos from our match that’s going down at our Euro tradeshow this week.
