Despite this past weekend’s subzero temps in Minnesota, riders and Powder Ridge park crew prevailed at TransAM. This weekend’s contest had a new park design that was shaped to be different than our past stops. It was to say the least, gnarles. Joey Peterson brought it home for the dudes after riding like an animal on the cold snow and fast surface throughout the 16-degree day. He not only took first for the guys, but also won Zumiez best trick with a gap backside 360 to backside 180 on the Coal Headwear combo down flat down rail. Ally Goebel repped for the ladies taking home first by crushing it on the Muscle Milk fence set up as a jib and wall ride. We closed out the weekend with a party where we awarded prizes including; a custom pair of TransAM Cassettes, Aviators, all black Epiphone heavy metal guitars, Ride Snowboards, and more shwag than the to contenders could carry. We'll be hanging with Joey and Ally in Park City where they'll represent Minnesota at the finals and ride with some of the Skullcandy Snow team. Check out photos from the event below.
