Last week we hit up one of the most exclusive parties in the industry. It’s big, loud, and ridiculous. It’s the Zumiez 100K. Living up to its reputation, the party went off in Keystone, CO, where the retailer honored its top salespeople from 2012. Zumiez hosted over 1,000 of their employee’s and top athletes as well as industry VIPS. We snagged team rider Aaron Biittner and went out a few days early to get in some needed CO shredding before the party.
We spread the Skullcandy love stashing pairs of our new snow-accessory friendly headset, the Cassette around the park at Copper Mountain & Keystone Resort posting hints on Instagram of where riders could find them. If you’re not already following us you should probably get on that… Like right now - @Skullcandy.
Big thanks to Woodward at Copper Village for letting us get a tramp sesh in as well. Here’s Biittner working on Wallisch moves.
We decked out all the Zumiez employees who flew out for the event with some custom 100K Cassettes to congratulate them on their success.
Our boy Aaron Biittner on the jump line.
The industry's finest from company founders to athletes were all gathered in the Keystone Conference Center gettin’ dooowwwwnn to Deadmau5
Each year the top sales person gets hooked up with tons of prizes including international vaycays, custom products and even cars. This year we wanted to mix it up a bit and gifted the second place sales person with one of the raddest prizes to date. We worked with our good friends over at Wrecked Metals to create a one-of-a kind custom motorcycle.
Taylor racked up over $700K in sales and was the lucky winner taking home the Skullcandy X Wrecked Metals bike which we were jonesed on giving away. Check out more photos from the Zumiez 100K in our gallery and check back for more on our colab with Wrecked Metals.
