The Skullcandy Training Team made one last stop on their Supreme Sound Experience tour. Hugely successful, the tour has highlighted product, but also brand and performance.
This time, the event was hosted in Seattle at The Crocodile, an establishment known for their wood-fired pizza and hip-hop shows. In fact, there was a show on the main stage during training. For the first hour or so, attendees mingled while enjoying smoky, with a bit of char, pizzas fresh from the oven. An open bar kept the atmosphere casual while former X-Ecutioner, DJ Sean Cee, orchestrated the music.
Satisfied by pepperoni and relaxed by drink, the group moved into the meat of the event. Training manager, Cohen Summers, kicked off the presentation with a quick introduction where he thanked the crowd for their support and for the opportunity to share Skullcandy’s culture.
Next, the group broke out into three different sections and rotated in pods. An effective training technique, pods lasted about 15 minutes and covered product performance, which includes design, acoustics and condition, Ninjistics or feature sets and finally, overviews of the Navigator, Icon 3 and Cassette.
The training session came to a close, but the partied continued. Dj Sean Cee reappeared and put on a show – a reminder of why he was an innovator in one of the world’s foremost turntablist groups. Good times. A photo booth was also on hand to capture the essence of the Supreme Sound Experience finale.
