Following the release of “SUPREME SOUND OF PARIS” featuring ONRA and WALTER MECCA in June, Skullcandy has done it again, bringing you the new release, “SUPREME SOUND FROM LONDON”. This limited edition 12” features DEFT (The Traveller/Illicit Fantasy) and FLAKO (Illicit Fantasy Remix) who produced 3 synth-driven tracks that explore and combine a wide variety of genres such as hip-hop, dubstep, bass and deep house. They have developed a unique style and sensibility that puts emphasis on sophisticated rhythmic structures that revolve around soft melodies. Far from being linear or binary, DEFT and FLAKO’s structures benefit from the incredible richness of their writing that may well go beyond whims of fashion. In fact, these London producers who have already been noticed by Gilles Peterson’s label, Brownswood Records.
