We've been fans of Luca Ionescu's work ever since we saw his sick designs for the Refill Seven skate deck exhibition. Seemed natural that when we began hand-picking the art for our ARTSPROJEKT collection, Luca's neon-lit skull would have a place among our own.
Ionescu is best known for his branding – logos and typography, specifically – and motion graphics work, though we also dig his commercial work for the likes of Nike, Harley-Davidson, Reebok, Coca Cola, Zoo York and RVCA. Currently, Luca has his Like Minded Studio based out of Sydney, Australia and puts out the impressive design publication, Refill Magazine.
