Skullcandy’s San Clemente Office Rocks! Grand Re-Opening and SurfAid Fundraiser

Skullcandy went boom! in California last week with a Grand Re-Opening party for our San Clemente office. We used the occasion to help raise money and awareness for SurfAid, a non-profit organization assisting people in some of the more isolated regions of our planet. A good time for a greater cause.

Our spacious new digs were the perfect setting for staff, artists, athletes and guests to mingle. Games, thrills and chills went down before we got to the serious stuff. Tribe of Kings got the music going for all the party people. Local rockers, GLAMel Toe, finished it off. In between, we worked on our Ping Pong, gaming and taco eating skills. Skullcandy riders Danny Kass and Bode Merrill stopped in for the festivities, and we even got a chance to converse with surf legend, PT Townend.

SurfAid was the beneficiary of our prize raffle and silent auction, featuring a signed Eukulele from Donavan Frankenreiter, a GoPro camera, and of course, our new custom Edit Aviator headphones and SLYR gaming headsets. Going over the top, we had a special series of Aviators designed by artists, Aaron Kraten, Industry Giant, Craig “Skibs” Barker and Ryan Clemens. All in all, we raised over $2000 to help SurfAid's emergency preparedness mission.
