Back in Aug, the Skullcandy party train rolled into Newquay, the UK’s premier surf town. With the launch of Supreme Sound, we thought we’d take the message on the road and give the public a chance to test all of our new gear.
Basked in glorious sunshine, the Chy and Koola club played host to a party of epic proportions. Once again the Skullcandy DJ’s were in full effect, with sets from Pete Jordan, Lucius Brave and Neil Navarra. The night was topped off by a headline DJ set from Radio 1 A-listers, Drumsound and Bassline Smith, who offered up their smash tune “Through the Night.” The venue hit capacity by midnight and stayed that way until close, producing one of the most talked about nights Newquay has ever seen.
Next day, we changed pace but were unsubdued by the previous night's carnage. For part two of our summer series, we moved down to the stunning Fistral Beach bar for an acoustic session with Welsh rockers, Kids in Glass Houses. While they played to an electrified and very intimate crowd, one of the UK’s best sunsets that we've ever seen provided the backdrop. This resulted in only one thing… another sublime Skullcandy party!
