Wow…..the heat was on blast today during a very long day of qualifying and semi–finals for Maloof Money Cup in Washington D.C.. If you missed the practice coverage, find it HERE. The skaters braved the furnace heat and jungle humidity for 9 hours! Everybody killed it, and amazingly enough survived the absurd weather to show the world an amazing display of skateboarding. Today’s highlights included Skullcandy team riders Theotis Beasley and Lizard King landing everything they tried, hometown hero Bobby Worrest just straight killing his new hometown skatepark, Ronnie Creagar showing everyone that he’s Ronnie Creagar, Andrew Reynolds showing everyone why he’s the “bauss”, Garret Hill’s tre flip 5050 down the rail, Manny Santiago just doing the most absurd tricks on point and Heath Kirchart entering the contest as a wild card…which was an amazing sight to see. All in all every skater killed it, but at some point, not everyone made it to the finals. Tune in tomorrow to see another display of the most amazing skateboarding ever!
