WOW! What an amazing and entertaining season the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross was and the final round in Las Vegas was packed to the rim with over 50,000 screaming fans and millions more watching it live on TV. With the tightest and closest points race ever, 5 different riders held the top spot at one point throughout the season, with the eventual winner Ryan Villopoto holding off SKDY MX rider Chad Reed by only 4 points to take the title. Chad did not go down with out a fight and rode to the win in the main event to cap off an incredible season by TwoTwo Motorsports, which included 2 wins and 11 podiums in the teams first season. Chad also was awarded the “Rock Hard/Ride Hard Award” from Brett Michaels and Team TwoTwo was awarded “Team of the Year” and “Team Manager of the Year” at the SX Awards Banquet on Sunday night. Big year for the entire SKDY MX crew, with nearly every rider finishing in the top 10 for the season and 18 total podiums.
