Many people here weren’t surprised one bit when Derrick Rose was awarded the MVP award last night. D Rose may be young, it’s true, but when it comes to performance he’s arguably the top point guard in a league chock full of talent. He chalked up 23 double-doubles this season and scored 30 points in 23 games. He led the Bulls to the top of their division, despite an absent Carlos Boozer and an injured Joakim Noah. ESPN’s Tim Legler called him the “most dominant PG since Magic Johnson.” And to top it off, he’s humble and he loves his mom. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Congratulations Derrick. We’re more than stoked to call you a part of the Skullcandy familia.
