Standing on the rooftop of the Grammy Museum over looking downtown LA can make a person feel pretty big. That is, until NBA All-Stars James Harden, Andre Igoudala, Kevin Durant, Julian Wright and Wesley Johnson stroll into the venue, followed by huge stars like Wale, MANN, Big Black, and the man of the night, Rick Ross.
The Grammy Museum was on fire last night as the red carpet rolled out for guests like Baby Bash, Chelsea Traille, Privaledge, Greg Lutzka, Louie Vito, and more. Andre Iguodala stole the position of SkullcandyTV emcee and gave the interview of his life to our very own NBA Crew. Chris “Big Black” Boykin challenged Skullcandy’s own app guru Aaron “Biggie” McCubbins on the side stage, MANN threw down an impromptu rhyme lesson with “I Like Money,” and when Wale jumped on stage the roof blew off the building. On a scale of one to ten, the energy was at an all-time eleven throughout the night until the place shut down. Maybe there was something in the water, but our guess is all the excitement was about seeing Rick Ross perform and unwrap his custom Roc Nation Aviators.
Skullcandy offered a custom pair of Roc Nation Aviators to VIP guests of the evening, and as you can see from the photos, there were some interesting choices. NBA players were amped to receive exclusive Aviator headphones that were personally engraved with their team logo, jersey number or personal signature. Hands held high in the air as the crowd sang along to “Hustlin,” one thing was certain: the Boss knows how to put on a good show. Enough words; check the video recap. Photo gallery below.
