Blindside Snowboard and Skateboard Shop has been a staple in the Utah scene since 1996.  They currently have 2 stores located in Layton and Salt Lake City.  Blindside specializes in unique skateboard and snowboard items that you aren’t going to find everywhere.  They pride themselves on their low prices and top-notch customer service.  Blindside has been rider-owned and rider-operated since day one.   Throughout the years they have stayed true to their roots and the great customers that have helped them get to where they are now.  Stop by one of their locations and say what’s up!

We sat down with owner Mo Collet for an impromptu interview, here’s what he had to say.

Q: What is your personal favorite Skullcandy Product?

A: I like the Icon 2s because they are simple, easy and they still bump!

Q: Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

A: No…but even if I had been to one…I would not speak about the horrible things that had or had not happened while I was or was not there.

Q: Who is the most attractive male that you’ve seen naked, explain?

A: Ha…you really want me to answer that?  I don’t know if I can narrow it down because I have seen SO many naked men…most of the time it’s been dark though so it’s hard to judge.  I would have to say that it would have to be ME…in the mirror when I am flexing both my butt cheeks and my biceps simultaneously!

Q:What teams will play in the NBA Finals and how many games will it last?

A: Lets see…not a short answer but I’ll try…I would hope the Jazz but Stern hates us so that isn’t going to happen.  The 2 highest money-making teams are the Heat and the Lakers so Stern is going to match them up for the maximum money pot.  OF COURSE Stern is going to make a game 7 and pay off everyone involved to make it happen!

Q: If your shop had a soundtrack, what 3-5 songs would it include?

A: I love hot moms, so “Stacey’s Mom” by Fountains Of Wayne, “C.R.E.A.M.” by Wu Tang…that’s my alarm clock song, “The Thong Song” by Sisqo…because some days boxer briefs just don’t make me feel sexy enough.
