Saturday in San Francisco was the fourth Annual IcerAir Event. Under sunny skies both Skiers and Snowboarder’s would do battle on the Giant hip jump that was constructed in the Parking lot of AT&T Park where the San Francisco Giants play.
The venue was much different then in years before. This year in place of the scaffolding and giant kicker would be a Catapult launch. The athletes would grab onto a rope that at the end of an old three two one would accelerate them towards the hip jump where they would let go and bust there trick.

It was obvious the skiers were having an easier go of it then the boarders. They decided in the long run to make the day an exhibition and split the prize money with everyone. They still awarded a first second and third. Skullcandy’s own Tanner Rainville just missed the win taking second overall.

Also the Skullcandy booth was cranking as usual with plenty of schwag being given out to all the kids. Want to send a special thank you to the crew that came out from PC Ben, Charlie and Lucas for being on point throughout the whole day.

I personally feel they need to bring back the formula that worked in the past in order for this event to be a success. Scaffolding, Good inrun and landing make for a good fair event. Changing the format literally days before the event will probably wasn’t the best thing to have had happened. Regardless our riders took up the challenge and represented.
To finish up the day 3oh!3 and the Kool Kids played a crazy show. See exclusive interview footage with 3oh!3 on Skullcandy TV.
