Dew Tour Recap

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

We survived the hood in Baltimore and Skullcandy was well represented with a slew of athletes competing at this tour stop and a solid group of them making finals in FMX, BMX and Skate. FMX was on primetime NBC and Skullcandy had 3 riders representing in the finals…Mike Mason, Jeremy Lusk and Adam Jones. Fuzzy Hall and his crew held it down on the BMX side of things and also once again built one of the best best dirt courses to date. Josh Hult also made his first finals in BMX dirt and Kevin Kirally did his thing in the park. We did some heavy guerilla marketing and left having another headphone brand not too hyped! Thanks to our friends at OGIO for the hospitality and the use of the infamous Bus and too all the riders and people representing.

Jib Jam NZ

Monday, June 23rd, 2008

Skullcandy New Zealand is proud to be co sponser for the Lincoln & Canterbury Uni Jib Jam.

Jib Jam is a chilled out jam format where everyone gets an opportunity to give it a go.

Open to skiers and boarders from both Lincoln & Canterbury Uni.

There will be two set ups:

A lower, more mellow drop in with a flat box or something for first timers and/or people that are not as confident.

And; a higher drop in ramp with a more tech feature like a battle ship/longer box which will have some a quarter pipe.

There will be spot prizes for the people who enter and prizes for best trick with male – female categories, which will be rider judged.

As well as this there will be fundraising happening for Lincoln Uni’s snow games team which are competing down in Wanaka in August at NZ Uni games.

There will be other stuff like a DJ/Band, and the usual student hook ups
