Afrika Bambaataa rocks Skullcandy!

Living legend, DJ extraordinaire, hip hop pioneer, founder of the Zulu Nation, and someone whose influence on music and popular culture is nearly impossible to measure—Afrika Bambaataa—was gracious enough to don and use Skullcandy SK PRO DJ headphones at a gig last week.  He was also kind enough to let photographer Quang Le snap this image to memorialize the event.  We’re not easily star struck, but man…it’s BAM!  RESPECT.

  • Hello,

Mondomix (Paris, France) is making a book about urban music (an history of rock, jazz, reggae, afrobeat, raï, bhangra, salsa, electro, r’n'b, dub, slam,...). To illustrate the Afrika Bambaata page, we are looking for a picture of him, so i would like to know if we can use this one for free. Your name would of course be credited. Thank you for your answer,

    Best regards,

    Marie Pourcel

  • Hello, I would like to ask again if we can use this Bambaataa picture or if you can tell us where you found it if you’re not the photographer. Best regards, Marie pourcel
